>>Morning in Y/n's apartment, Saturday morning.
Y/n has woken up from her beauty sleep. Y/n was always a heavy sleeper. When she woke up, she felt refreshed, she went to go brush her teeth, wash her face and take a quick shower. It was a Saturday morning, so she wanted to get some things done before she has work on Monday. The first thing that came to her mind was having to resign from the current agency she worked at.
Y/n lets out a deep sigh realizing that this weekend, was going to be a long one.
Instead of wearing her hero costume, she wore regular clothes, it was a bit rainy that day, so she wore a comfortable long dark green cardigan, a white shirt, and black pants. (If that's not your thing, you can insert what you want to wear :3) She gets her bag, and puts her umbrella, wallet and other essentials.
As Y/n went down from her apartment, greets the receptionist, opens her umbrella and goes on her way to agency to sign off, and get the paperwork done to be off. The agency she worked at wasn't too far, that's mostly why she chose it, it was a walking distance. But realizing now she works for Hero Hawks; she's going to need to invest in a bike since her quirk isn't much help with traversing.
After minutes of walking, she eventually makes it there, and her dear best friend wondering why she was there on her day off.
"Hey what're you doing here! It's your day off, yeah?" Her best friend asks curiously.
"Well uhm, it might come to surprise I'm off to work for Mr. No. 2 Hero now" She slightly chuckles in between her sentences.
"WHAT, HOW COME ONLY NOW DO I HEAR OF THIS?!"
"Do you really not watch the news?"
"Of course not, it's just filled with boring shit"
Y/n gives them a smug look,
"Well, it was on the news the other day, so as the allegations of me and Hawks being together..." She says the last part quieter.
"THEY SAID WHAT NOW, IM SERIOUSLY WATCHING THE NEWS MORE NOW BECAUSE OF YOU. TELL ME EVERYTHING" they say loudly, from being surprised their own best friend haven't informed them. They couldn't help it, she was a hero, they were a receptionist. They'll definitely miss Y/n, knowing having their best friend, working together; it was a shame.
"I can't stay much, but I promise to keep in touch! I need to talk to our boss about this and get the paperwork to be off this agency." Y/n tries to have a reassuring smile for her best friend knowing this was very disappointing. But an opportunity like this cannot be passed off.
"Okay, okay! But before you leave c'mere." They both get into a tender hug, they're going to miss their bestie. They slightly wipe the tears of their eyes and set Y/n off.
Y/n goes ahead to her boss' room to tell him about she's signing off and working for a new agency. Her boss nods, and gives her some paperwork to sign, questions to answer blah-blah-blah no one wants to hear that boring stuff.
As Y/n was packing her stuff from her desk, oh boy did her best friend bombard her with questions about the allegations with Hawks. While Y/n was in the room with her boss, she looked up the news for yesterday and saw, EVERYTHING.
"Omggggg, Kanjo-san, sooo likeeeeeeeeee, what happened while the both of you were in the air flying? Were you like clutching onto his chest because I know you're afraid of height!" Her best friend teases.
Y/n has a small pink tint on from being a little embarrassed, but something else that trickled in her stomach. Jeez she had a quirk to control emotion, but she doesn't know her own emotions.
"WELL, look he just said it's a faster way to his agency, so I just followed. I can't blame you though, he smelt pretty pleasing. NOT THE POINT, it was casual, he's one of the fastest heroes so we were there in just a few moments." She says a little pinker.
"Omg you sound sooo into him" They tease further "C'mon tell me like, what do you think of him? What if you both just fall in love with each other and have a family, get married, I'm part of your braids maids." They start imagining the future of their bestie. And they notice how she did grow a small blush, it wasn't very noticeable but as a best friend they knew.
"Don't put your damn fantasies and love stories in my life!" Y/n starts chuckling, as she's picking up her stuff like notebooks, pens etc... "Look, he's my boss, nothing else."
"Ohh, soooo what do you think of him at least!" They ask with their head tilted, in a joking teasing voice.
"This is the last question I'm answering," Y/n sighs, "Hawk's is amazing.."
"Wait say that again I wasn't recording."
"HEY! You want your answers or not?!"
"OKOK FINE" They still secretly record it,
Y/n takes a deep breath and just lets her mind talk, "Hawks is amazing, he's strong and wonderful. He cares a lot about the public, and I admire that so much about him. Hawks is frankly, very attracti-" Y/n stopped.
"What about me hm, birdy?" She hears a familiar voice approaching, and his hand on her desk.
Y/n inhales, "He's behind me isn't he,"
"Mhm" Hawks hums in response, "glad to know my sidekick thinks I'm attractive for one, and someone you can admire." He teases her,
"Ohh! It's my super cool new boss! So I was just uhm, cleaning up, so see you Monday,"
