Jon joins the crew!

Chapter 1

Tw: Abusive relationship (not for long)

The rain poured down onto the earth. From what Jon could guess with the sky covered by grey clouds, the heavy rain and flashes that it's a storm. His clothes were soaked and his hair was stuck to his head. He couldn't tell whether it was tears or rain that fell down his face. Him and Eduardo had an argument again. Eduardo blamed him for not helping to stop the ghost from getting the house, then he punched Jon.

And now Jon was sat on a bench, staring at the floor. He didn't know where to go, even if he did, he just wanted to be alone. Why did Eduardo hate him so much? He just wants to make him happy and proud. "Jon?" A voice called out. He looked up and to the side, seeing Edd stood with an umbrella in one hand, and a coke can in the other.

"Hey. What's the matter?" Edd asked, his face expressed concern. He took a seat next to Jon and held the umbrella to shield them both from the rain. Jon just sighed and placed his head into his hands. "Eduardo punched me again." Jon answered sadly. Edd sighed and took another sip out of his coke, then perked up at something. Jon watched him pull out another can. Then Edd offered it to him.

Jon hesitated before taking the can and smiling. "Thanks." He said before drinking the coke. "Why do you even hang out with him?" Edd asked sympathetically. Jon frowned, "That's what I was wondering. It was originally meant to just be Eduardo and I. But then he met Mark and allowed him to move in aswell." Jon took another sip before continuing,

"Eduardo was nice when we started dating-" Edd then gave him a look, not knowing that him and Eduardo were a couple. "-but then he started being mean and then it got to the point that he would hurt me if I annoyed him or didn't do as he said." Jon lips quivered. Edd was worried, and somewhat angry. "Jon that's abuse, and a toxic relationship."

Jon nodded, understanding everything. He knew it wasn't good, but he loved Eduardo and thought it was just a way of him showing love. "He says that's just how he shows he loves-" Edd interrupted him, "Jon it isn't. That's manipulation. Abuse isn't love." Edd then thought of something.
"I tell you what, stay at mine for tonight and tomorrow I'll come with you and you can tell Eduardo that you don't want to date or be around him ever again."

Edd smiled and stood up offering a hand to Jon. But he didn't take it. "He'll be angry that I'm staying with you." Edd frowned again. "It doesn't matter what he thinks because he's a bully AND you need to stay somewhere that isn't in the storm." Jon smiled at that, and then took Edd's hand. And began walking down to Edd's house.

"We're here!" Edd smiled and opened the door, allowing Jon to enter first. He took off his shoes and placed them next to where Edd placed his. Matt ran down the stairs, ready to greet Edd, until he saw Jon. "Hi Edd! Hi J- why are you here?" He asked innocently. Edd smiled and waited for Tom to come down. Once Tom did, he was instantly angry about Jon staying. "Nope get him out!" He went to push Jon to the door.

"Tom don't be so rude!" Edd grabbed Tom's hand and explained everything to them both, getting Jon's consent first. Matt looked upset and went to hug Jon, even though he didn't fully understand what they meant. Tom gave a quick look of sympathy before returning back to his original look. He growled and walked to the kitchen. "Fine but I'm not happy about this."

Edd looked back at Jon, "Ignore him, he's always grumpy." He gave a smile, which Jon returned. "Um Edd?" He asked, and heard him hum in response, "Where will I sleep?" Edd then looked deep in thought, realising he never thought of that. Then he smirked as came up with something. "Jon I'll figure that out." He lied, "Why don't you get a bath? You can borrow one of my shirts and trousers, they're in my room!" Edd smiled. Jon nodded and mumbled "thanks" before walking up the stairs.

"TTTTOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!"
