'Are you smiling?'

There's no way he doesn't know what that orange-haired woman was doing, but Benji smiled in response. It was far away, so she couldn't hear him, but it was clear that he was enjoying himself. His even teeth shone in the bright sunlight. At that grin, Elise's eyes darkened.

I can't believe you're laughing in front of others. My Benji. She felt like the world was collapsing at that simple fact.

Elise had never even imagined it. Her Benji–flirting and playing with another woman.

'How dare you smile at another woman?'

Who are you trying to bewitch? No, it seems that the amount people who would anxiously stand around him, even if he ignored them, would still be enough to fill the plaza....But if he was laughing so beautifully—! Who wouldn't be seduced? Wouldn't that be like declaring war?

Unconsciously, Elise clenched her fists and glared at him.

The conversation went on for a long time. Every time the 'orange head' rocked back and forth, her intestines twisted.

'What the hell are you talking about?'

She had followed him secretly, so she couldn't hear their voices because she kept a distance.

'I wish I could hear a little bit... ... .'

All of Elise's nerves turned to the orange head.

Then the woman burst out laughing loud enough to be overheard by Elise. The woman naturally wrapped her arms around Benji and dragged him into a small inn. Benji's face had a pale blush that only Elise could discern.

'Insane—What!?'

Elise couldn't control the emotions boiling from deep inside her body. Lava was burning to the top of her head, and it felt like it would explode at any moment.

'What the hell is going on here?'

Complex feelings of wanting to know but wanting not to know were swirling together, making her dizzy. She could not wrap her head around this situation.

'Why are you two going in there? What is that place? No, why are you two together? What are you two going to do?'

Whatever it was, she had to stop the two of them from entering that narrow and shabby-looking building right away.

Thoughts came later. Actions came now. If Benji had done something unthinkable—or tried to do it, she would have to hit him mercilessly, but she had no intention of condoning what was happening right in front of her eyes.

"Honey!"

Elise shrieked so loud as if she was addressing her enemy. Benji turned his head, following her familiar voice, and his face froze as if he had seen a ghost.

"What are you doing here?"

Elise came up to him in the blink of an eye and possessively snatched his arm while raising her eyebrows at him. She stretched the corners of her mouth and clenched her teeth, trying to speak as naturally as possible. But the anger and excitement came out intact.

'Umm?'

She looked at Benji thinking: 'You're dead when you get home, prepare to be punished!'

She was looking at his eyes, thinking that Benji's expression looked dumbfounded, loose like an idiot for a moment. It wasn't the acting she had witnessed for a long time in the past, but a face she had never seen before. Rather than panic and trembling, Elise was rather bewildered by his pale expression, like he was so embarrassed that he wanted to die.

"Oh, you must be his wife. Shall we go in together?"

The orange head politely hauled Elise along.

'Together? Are you crazy?'

Without an opportunity to respond, Elise was pushed into the building. After that, Benji's whimper followed like an auditory hallucination.
