Nandani entered her house and threw her heels at one corner of the entrance. She threw her keys in their place which ended on the floor and she went straight to her room not noticing Manik following her behind. She struggled with the zip of her dress and somehow opened it still enraged and got out of the dress and went to the washroom to take a shower.

Manik saw her and sat down on the bed waiting for her. They left as soon as Nandani's mother had asked them to invite her dad to their wedding which both Manik and Nandani were not in favour of. They paid the bill as Nandani politely asked Manik's parents and his siblings to have their dinner and left the restaurant. The entire ride home Nandani kept raging like a bull and as soon Manik tried to make a conversation on their 40 min ride home Nandani shut him off not wanting to have one.

Nandani came out of the washroom calmer but still not normal enough as Manik stood to have a word before which Nandani said,

Nandani: Mani! I love you! I really do! But please right now I don't want to have a single word about anything because the curses that are roaming in my head will end up on my tongue and we might get into a very big fight right now! So Please for the sake of god please don't say anything, and if you want my word on this please leave me alone for the night Please.

Manik went closer to her and took her into a hug making sure that she was okay with it and he said,

Manik: okay take your time. But you know this and should not have to say again that it is your choice if you want to invite him or not! Okay!

Nandani sighed and nodded while Manik kissed her head and went away. Nandani followed him to the main door to make sure she closes it properly when Manik turned and said,

Manik: This was not how I thought our night will turn out to be!

Nandani: trust me when I say this ME TOO! This was like, THE most unexpected thing that was supposed to happen.

Manik: you take care okay? Tell me if you need anything!

Nandani: Yeah! Bye, I love you!

Manik: I love you too baby!

As Nandani closed her door she clenched and unclenched her fists. She went to her room and took her diary, heading towards her study room. Sitting near the window she started scribbling the information of the last few days and went on to talk about all that happened in the day and at the dinner. She looked at the time to see it was almost 1 am when she was done writing. Still not feeling calm she changed her clothes into her gym outfit and took a bottle of water and went to her society's gym.

Reaching there she ran for at least 20 minutes before throwing some punches and kicks on the bag taking out her frustration. When she was done she looked back at the time and saw it was almost 2:30 am so she called Maya, Zoya and Sanket all together. After many rings, they picked up one by one sounding scared and on their toes.

Sanket: What happened? Why are calling so late at night? Do you need help? Are you scared? Should I come?

Maya: Arrey let her speak at least!

Nandani: thanks Mayu! (sighs) Can you guys come tomorrow morning? As early as possible?

Sanket: I can come in 2 hours!

Zoya: Me too!

Maya: Me three, All good?

Nandani: Yeah I just have news to share both a good one and a very bad one! Emphasis on the VERY!

Sanket: okay I will see you! Zoya you want me to pick you up?

Zoya: yeah pick me up, please!

Nandani: Sanket, I am just asking do you still have the number of the lawyer that helped us during the court case.
