3rd P.O.V
After killing the Angels and freeing Beelzebub, the duo entered the bunker which was hidden amongst various different piles and shelves of beelzejuice. Inside the bunker was a single bed and a chest. Beelzebub let out a sigh as she sat down on the bed, patting a space next to her, inviting Mutasim to sit down with her.
The Hellhound nodded and accepted the invite, jumping onto the bed and sat down.
Beelzebub: Thanks for the help out there. You really know how to handle your own in a fight, huh?
Mutasim shrugged his shoulders.
Mutasim: I... I'm not sure how I did that stuff. It just... Seemed natural.
Beelzebub: Heh. A natural born fighter huh? Well it definitely showed back there.
Those words sounded familiar to the young Hellhound. As if he had heard them from someone before. But he couldn't remember anyone saying it clearly to him. Was it when he was a baby or something? The boy shook his head, getting rid of those thoughts from his mind.
Beelzebub: Anyway! Since we're here and since you're getting a little older, have you thought about what you might wanna do in the future? You know, when you're all grown up?
Mutasim: Um... Not really... Well, I sorta, I guess?
Beelzebub: Go on. You know you can tell me anything, right?
Mutasim: R-Right, right. Its just... I've never really tried it before. I... I was wondering what singing is like.
Beelzebub smiled and wrapped two of her arms around the younger Hellhound.
Beelzebub: Well, its a nice and kinda a big thing, you know? There are different types of songs, different genres, different vibes and all that kinda stuff. If you do get into singing, what kind of songs would you sing?
Mutasim: Well... I guess, I could try rock songs. I've been listening to them a lot now.
Beelzebub: Heh. Somehow, I can see you really rocking out in your room with music at max volume.
Mutasim: Ehh... Well, I didn't mean like screaming or heavy metal. I meant alternative, I think that's what its called?
Beelzebub: Oooohhhhhh. Yeah. I get it. Since this whole Hell Purge thing is going on, why don't you get your phone out and let me listen to one of the songs? Its not like there's much else we can do down here. I know I'm a party animal, but even I got my limits of what I can work with.
Nodding, Mutasim got out a phone that Beelzebub got him for his birthday. He opened up Spotify and pressed play on one of the songs he enjoyed listening to.
Listening to the song, Beelzebub realised the expression on Mutasim's face. It was one that was a slight mix of hope, but also pain. She didn't need to guess that the boy felt some kind of relation to the song's lyrics. Once the song finished, Beelzebub's lips curled upwards softly.
Beelzebub: I thought it was nice. And if you think you can do it, then you've got my support.
Mutasim: Really?
Beelzebub: Of course! Besides, I think its an important way to get your feelings across.
Mutasim: Thanks Be-...
He looked down, stopping. The older demon frowned, confused.
Beelzebub: Mutasim? You okay?
Mutasim: I... I was just thinking... Could I... Could I call you... M...Mom?
Beelzebub's eyes widened, but she actually teared up from joy upon hearing that. Though at the same time, her heart cracked a little, due to her "deeper" feelings for the boy. Regardless, she threw all four arms around the boy, holding him tightly.
Beelzebub: Of course!
Mutasim smiled and wrapped his arms around the fox demon. His heart warmed up and a bright joy filled his soul. He was overjoyed with the fact that he had someone that supported him so much now. Despite her being a demon, Beelzebub was like an angel to Mutasim. And he wouldn't trade it for anything else.
Their bond had only become stronger with this small talk. And it would continue to get stronger from this point on...
