A low groan leaves my mouth as I feel myself slowly wake up. As I awaken, I hear what sounds like two girls giggling. Once my eyes open up, I see the twins, Rem and Ram, sitting on top of me. 

Twins: Dad! 

The two of them throw their arms around me. I chuckle and return the hug, my heart being put at ease after the whole drama in Heaven. 

Mutasim: Hey girls. How are you two? 

Rem: We're okay! 

Ram: We missed you so much! 

I ruffle their hair. 

Mutasim: Sorry I've not been around. I've just been really busy. 

Out of nowhere, I feel four arms wrap around me from behind, I immediately knew it was Beelzebub. 

Beelzebub: Awww. ~ How about you just stay lying down then? You can tell us all about what work was like. 

Mutasim: Right... 

Beelzebub: Hey, kids? Why don't you go show your dad your gifts? 

Mutasim: "Gifts"?

Rem: Oh, yeah! Wait right here! 

The two sisters run off, eager to show me whatever it was they planned on showing me. I let out a content sigh, seeing those girls be so happy. Beelzebub sits down next to me and sighs. 

Beelzebub: Alright. Now that the girls are away, what's really going on? You're upset and angry at something. 

I rub my forehead and nod. 

Mutasim: Yeah... This new workplace, I work as a security guard at a place called Hazbin Hotel. 

Beelzebub: Oh yeah! Lucifer told me about that. Said it was his daughter who made it. 

Mutasim: Yeah. Charlie got a meeting with Heaven and she wanted me to tag along, so I did. 

Beelzebub: So you managed to visit Heaven? Wow. What was that like? 

Mutasim: Bright and white. The angels were... pretty similar to demons. Except for one. 

Beelzebub: So what's got you down then? 

Mutasim: Charlie presented her case to Heaven, wanting to show that sinners can be redeemed. It... Didn't go so well. Even when the sinner we watched followed Heaven's so-called rules to get into Heaven. But what really pissed me off was that not all of Heaven was made aware of the exterminations. Only the Exorcists, Adam and Sera knew. 

Beelzebub: Sera? As in the High Seraphim? That bitch! 

Mutasim: My thoughts exactly. And now we've only got a month before the extermination begins. 

Beelzebub: You're worried that the Exorcists will come here again, aren't you? 

Mutasim: Of course I'm worried. It's not just you and I here. We've gotta look out for the girls too. These angels don't discriminate. They kill everything in Hell. 

She pats my back, giving me a gentle smile. 

Beelzebub: It'll be okay M. You've grown so much stronger. And if there's one thing you're good at, aside from kicking ass, it's protecting people you love. Those girls are safe. 

I smile and kiss Bee's cheek, making her ears twitch from excitement. 

Mutasim: Thanks, Bee. I needed that. 

Beelzebub: No problem. Now, just take it easy. If it's true that the exorcists are attacking in a month's time, you need all the rest you can get. 

I nod and lean back against the sofa. After spending so much of my time working, I almost forgot how important it was to spend time with my family. I swore from this point on, I'd take on less work and stay with my family more often. 

Yet the threat of the angels constantly left me feeling uneasy.
