I slowly line up with the hoop and make sure my form is perfect before shooting. The ball sails through the air and swishes through the net before falling back to the ground. I watch as the ball bounces away from the goal towards the fence surrounding the basketball court. I walk over and pick up the ball and grab my bag full of towels and empty water bottles. The sky is black and no stars show from all the light pollution from the city, only the moon is out. It has to be passed two in the morning because not even the late night drunks are out anymore.
I sigh and walk out of the basketball court and get on the sidewalk to go to my dorm. Everyone else is probably asleep unless Jimin or Jungkook decided to have a late night practice again. Hoseok and Taehyung always stay up and play video games but even if a meteor fell from the sky they would be to focused to notice. Namjoon is probably asleep as he always seems to be in the studio. The one person who might be up is Seokjin.
No matter how late I stay out he always seems to be waiting for me when I get back. It really pisses me off. I'm 23 years old and I can take care of myself just fine. Seokjin isn't really the one that bothers me because he never says anything about me staying out, but Namjoon always nags me the next day if he finds out Jin stayed up to wait on me. That idiot just doesn't understand.
Before I know it I'm standing in front of the dorm. I open the door as quietly as possible and make my way towards mine and Seokjin's room. As I pass by the tiny living room I see Seokjin passed out on the couch. I roll my eyes and set my bag and basketball down by the couch. I open the door to our room and walk back over to the couch and pick up Seokjin and carry him to his bed. If only that idiot would mind his own business, I think to myself. When I walk back out into the living room to grab my bag I noticed the door to Namjoon's room is open and he is standing in the doorway.
"Yoongi hyung, did you just get home?" He asks.
"Yeah" I grab my bag and start to make my way back into my room when Namjoon grabs my arm to stop me.
I glare at him but he only looks back at me. "Did you know Seokjin stayed up again to wait on you?"
"No I just carried him to our room for no reason." I jerk my arm out of his grip.
Namjoon moves in front of my door to stop me from going in.
"You need to be more considerate of him."
"And why should I? He's a big boy and his decisions are up to him." I say and glare up at Namjoon.
"But he cares about you and your safety. That's why he stays up to wait on you."
I get a couple of inches away from Namjoon's face.
"That's his own damn fault. He had no reason to care, and you need to learn to respect your hyung."
Namjoon doesn't back down and moves a little closer.
"He has plenty of reason to care for your sorry ass. Why can't you see what you have right in front of you. We all care about you but you obviously don't care at all."
I felt my anger rising and I had to stop myself from trying to punch him.
"You have no right to say anything about what I care about. You have no idea."
"I do because obviously you don't know how much I ca-"
"Are you two fighting?" Seokjin asked sleepily as he opened the door, cutting off Namjoon.
Namjoon looked at Seokjin with pity.
"No hyung we were getting ready to go to sleep." I glared at Namjoon one more time before walking into my room to change and go to bed.
