Kaiden was getting hungry..Very hungry. Cesar hadn't been keeping him fed and he quickly realized. He probably wanted Kaiden to starve or something. It seemed to be working quite well.

Not only that but the place Cesar kept him in was..Cold. He didn't like it. He only had his clothing to keep him warm. He tried to be as grateful as possible but..This was getting irritating.

"I'm surprised your still alive."

Cesar said, in that same cocky tone.

"Yeah, you haven't fed me in days."

"Should've told me you were hungry!"

"I don't really trust you. You might feed me like..Organs."

"..Am I really that low of a person to you?"

"Yes."

Cesar scoffed.

"Whatever. I'm hungry anyways, so I'm gonna get what I want out of you."

Cesar walked over to Kaiden, bending down to his level.

"What's this?"

The ravenette put his hand on the back of Kaidens neck. His thumb caressing the scar he had on it.

Kaiden flinched. He hated being reminded of it. And now it was being touched.

"Hey-! Fucking quit!"

Cesar noticed Kaidens attitude. Noticing he had hit a soft spot.

"You don't like that, do you? Reminds you of what happened."

"You don't even- know what happened!"

Kaiden was..Correct. Cesar had no idea that Thatcher inflicted the scar, so he didn't really have any power over him other than touching his scar.

It was obvious that it effected him heavily. That's the only thing Cesar could use to break him.

"I do wonder how you got this scar..It's quite big."

"That's none of your damn business! I-It's personal! And why would I tell someone like YOU anyways?!-"

Kaiden said, now in a cold sweat. His breath was shaky.

"Because if you don't tell me I'll reopen the wound."

Said the ravenette, pulling out his pocket knife.

He placed it on Kaidens neck, not applying to much pressure.

Kaiden was to scared to talk. He didn't know what Cesar was capable of if he would threaten him like this.

"Cmon, speak up."

"I'll tell you if— You take that knife away from me."

"..Hm."

Cesar took the knife off of Kaidens neck, allowing him to breathe.

"Don't get relieved to quickly. I still want answers."

Kaiden steadied his breathing, clearing his throat.

"Thatcher-..The Lieutenant. Uh..Slit my throat when I was-..Still a minor."

Cesar was surprised.

No, Cesar was REALLY surprised. The Lieutenant? Thatcher Davis himself?

"Are you serious?"

"Yes-! Why the fuck would I lie about that?!—"

That's as weird. Thatcher was supposed to be the hero. At least one of them.

And he had hurt somebody? Nearly killing them? And got away..Scott free?

"Wow..Well isn't that surprising?"

"You're talking about it like it's a good thing."

"Because it is! At least for me.."

Cesar smiled bigger.

"This'll be fun, won't it? I'll make sure that cop gets when he deserves."

Kaiden was confused.

"Wha.."

"Don't you worry, Kaiden! I've got everything in the palm of my hand now."
