Alternate Ending

Hi! A couple people have asked me for a better ending TT Your wish is my command.

This is continuing from Chapter 3 (Sunoo told them about the bet)

Sunoo blurted out the bet. It was about time. Then Ni-ki finally spoke up. "A... bet?" Enha looked ashamed and TXT took a step back, staying out of it. "Ni-ki, I'm so sorry. We made a bet, how long we could... hurt you. It sounds so sick and twisted now that I hear it." Jungwon said, tearing up. "Ni-ki forgive us, we are still Enhypen right?" Heeseung said, holding out his arms for a hug.

"Maybe but... I don't know anymore." Ni-ki said, pausing with unsureness. "Ni-ki, what do you mean?" Sunoo said, emerging from behind the members. Ni-ki paused, thinking of an answer. "This bet... why would you do that if you were real friends?" The room was silent. Enha looked down in shame and disappointment. They hurt Ni-ki so much just because he slept in, they only now realized how stupid it looked. After a while of silence, Ni-ki started to open the door to leave. Enha realized and panicked, was their maknae really just going to leave? Then Jungwon ran up to Ni-ki and hugged him tightly.

"Ni-ki, don't ever leave us please. We didn't mean anything we said. It was fucked up, I know, and I regret everything we did. Ni-ki please don't go, stay." Jungwon pleaded, tears running from his eyes. Ni-ki stood there, in Jungwon's embrace, not moving or hugging back. Jungwon and the members realized Ni-ki, he wasn't going to forgive them? "Please Ni-ki." Heeseung said, walking towards them slowly. Ni-ki looked down and rested his face on Jungwon's shoulder and finally hugged back. "I'll stay." Ni-ki's words created a lot of smiles and relieved sighs.

Everyone joined their hug and they stood there for a while. TXT saw and snuck out, being grateful that Enha apologized. Ni-ki was crying, he still hadn't forgiven them, and they knew that. but he would give them another chance. They went inside and Ni-ki unpacked the suitcases that were sitting there. He laid on his bed, staring at the top bunk. 'Was this a good choice?' He thought, but then he heard his name called. It was still awkward after the whole thing; couldn't they give him a few days before calling him for dinner which he didn't want to eat? When he walked in, he saw everyone sitting on the lounge covered in blankets and pillows. On the screen was Ni-ki's favourite movie. Jay patted the lounge, a spot left in the middle of all of his members. Ni-ki stood for a while before smiling and nodding.

The movie started to play, everyone cuddled up except Ni-ki who wasn't completely comfortable. The members quickly noticed and didn't smother him with hugs yet. Slowly through the movie they got closer to Ni-ki, putting their arms around him as he felt safer. Ni-ki was finally comfortably watching and cuddling with all of his members again.

Once the movie ended, Ni-ki got up and walked to the kitchen. Heeseung followed and grabbed some food, also taking a knife. While Heeseung was holding it, he turned around and Ni-ki was right behind him. Ni-ki saw the knife and flinched and apologized straight away. "I'm sorry hyung! I'll get out of the kitchen." With that, Ni-ki started rushing out of the kitchen and into his room.

Heeseung: He thought I was going to hurt him with a knife...?

Jake: He still definitely does not forgive us and has serious trauma from it.

Sunghoon: I wouldn't forgive us if I were him

Jungwon: Hopefully one day, it will be the same as it was before

Jay: We will always remember it and so will he

Heeseung: Yeah, that's our fault not his. So let's make it better for him

The members nodded

-TIME SKIP-

A month had gone by and things had mostly gone back to normal. Ni-ki still flinched whenever the members made large movements that could possibly hurt him, but it was better.

"We love you Nishimura Riki"
