If home is where the heart is
There is no doubt that you are my home
Wether I wanted to or not, you've stolen my heart
My once care free, some might say loveless heart
My rotten, useless heart
You've captured it.
As one would capture an injured bird
Gently, and with care, to make sure the bird can breathe
To make sure it can survive
And even flourish in its new environment.
You're my new environment
My new life
My new love
My home.
My sweet sweet home
Your embrace welcomes me
As if it's the only place I should ever be
And in your arms
My heart flutters
Calms down
And says
This is where I need to be
This is where I am
This is my home.
