Tiffany was slumped against the big weeping willow in her garden. It was one of her favourite places since in the summers it always spared some shadows and she also wasn't found by most of her employees sent out by her mother to bring her back into the house.

She closed her eyes and rested her head against the yield of the old tree and took in the sound of her surroundings. It smelled like a warm summer rain was coming and maybe even a bit of smoke. Some of the old neighbours must've had a big barbecue again.

Suddenly Tiffany was able to make out a new scent and it was coming from beside her.

This was accented by a light tap on her right shoulder.

"Boo!"

Tiffany's eyes widened and she let out a small scream.

"WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT YOU-"

The girl was stopped by her friends hand and he whispered.

"Shh we have to be quiet, it's so late already, wouldn't wanna wake anyone would we now Darling?"

"I came here to make you feel better about your break-up, not to get flirted on, do you want to talk about it? I mean I always knew she was a bitch but like, still"

Theodores smile fell and he looked at her with a frown.

"I mean what is there to really talk about? She cheated on me like you said she would, can you just tell me that 'you told me so' and we can move on? I don't wanna have an argument about this"

"Why would we have an argument? I mean I told u she was a bitch but at the same time I'm still sorry for you. You're my best friend and I somewhat care about you dork"

"Don't you dare call me a dork Mrs. Clinton, that's not very lady-like"

He said in a fake shocked voice while he put this hand on his chest.

She huffed out a breath she didn't know she was holding and looked away.

Before she could register what was happening she felt Theodores pointer finger and thumb under her chin, lifting it up as a result.

She just looked at him and started to laugh before burying her face in his sweater.

"I thought you were gonna be sad about it, and now ur just as flirty as always"

"Yeah, well what can I say?"

What could he say my dear reader? How about that he left his girlfriend not because she cheated, but for his childhood best friend?
