Chapter 17: A Familiar Arrival

Edward pulled up to the Cullen house, the sleek black Volvo S60R gliding smoothly into the driveway. The engine purred softly before he turned it off, the quiet hum fading away. A satisfied smile graced his lips as he opened the car door and stepped out onto the gravel.

The Cullen house stood before him, a magnificent testament to their unique lifestyle. Its grandeur was matched only by its seclusion, nestled amidst the dense forest that surrounded it. Edward took a moment to admire the elegant architecture, the ethereal beauty that mirrored the family residing within.

With a sense of purpose, he closed the car door and began to walk around the vehicle, his steps deliberate and composed. The crisp autumn air enveloped him, carrying a hint of anticipation. Leaves rustled under his feet, adding a gentle rhythm to his movements.

As Edward reached the front of the car, he paused, his gaze fixed on the house. Memories flooded his mind, images of countless moments spent here with his family. Each room held a story, every corner a cherished memory. It was a place of sanctuary, of love, and of unity.

A soft breeze tousled his bronze hair, a gentle reminder of the world beyond his immortal existence. He took a deep breath, inhaling the scents of nature that mingled with the familiar fragrance of the Cullen home. The crispness of pine, the earthy aroma of damp soil, and the distant hint of wood smoke welcomed him back.

Edward's smile widened, a reflection of the joy that filled his heart. The anticipation of reuniting with his family, of sharing in their unbreakable bond, fueled his every step. He knew that within those walls, he would find comfort, understanding, and unwavering love.

As he reached the front porch, Edward paused once more, his hand hovering above the doorknob. He closed his eyes briefly, savoring the moment, before turning the knob and stepping into the warmth of the Cullen home.

Inside, the air was alive with energy. The sound of laughter and hushed conversations echoed through the halls. Edward's senses heightened, capturing every detail-the soft hum of Esme's voice, the melodious tinkling of Alice's laughter, the steady rhythm of Carlisle's footsteps.

The sight that awaited him brought a surge of happiness. His family, his forever companions, gathered together in the living room. Their eyes met his, a mixture of surprise and delight, and Edward knew that he was home.

As the day turned into night, the Cullen house buzzed with life, the bonds of family growing stronger with each passing moment. Edward's smile never wavered, his heart filled with gratitude for the love that surrounded him.

And so, Edward's arrival at the Cullen house marked not just a physical return, but a spiritual homecoming-a reunion of souls bound together by an eternal connection.
Taking a deep breath, Edward approached Alice and gently asked, "Alice, what did you want to talk about?"

Alice's eyes met his, her gaze steady and unwavering. "Edward," she began, "I've had three visions about Bella."

Edward's brows furrowed in confusion. Bella had been a topic of concern for all of them lately, but Alice's visions added a layer of uncertainty to the situation. He leaned in closer, urging her to continue.

"In these visions," Alice continued, "I saw Bella going to forks diner to meet up with a blonde haired woman at this meeting bella provided this lady three items but I couldnt make out what she gave the lady but the energy the lady gave off in the vision was malicious . The second vision I had bella was weeping by the bedside of man in th vision I can't see the man face but I assumed it was you but the vision bella was in such a distress it caused my heart to quicken in fear . The third vision Renesmee was drained of blood along side charlie and you were weeping scolding bella about lying to you . It's different each time, but the threat is real. I can't ignore it, Edward." But each vision has bella and she has some involvement of the ominous affairs that are at hand with this looming threat

Edward's heart skipped a beat. Bella, the girl he loved, was hiding something no lying to him about something. The concern instincts that had always been a part of him surged to the surface. He couldn't bear the thought of her deceiving him or not consulting with him about what she has been up to behind his back .

"What is bella planning , Alice?" Edward asked, his voice laced with worry.

Alice's voice grew softer as she explained, "I saw Bella engaging with the blonde woman in th first vision that vision stood out the most out of the three visions I had they were talking and she gave the lady three items of personal value ".

Edward's mind raced, his thoughts consumed by the way bella lied about the letter she was reading when he walked in on her that day he played chess with her to cheer her up He knew he had to act swiftly to prevent any harm from befalling his family due to whatever alliances she was building outside the Cullen family.

"Thank you for sharing this with me, Alice," Edward said, his voice filled with determination. "We must do everything in our power to prevent your visions . We'll gather the family Saturday night and devise a plan to keep whatever plan to is putting together with the lady at bay."

Alice nodded, her eyes filled with assurance. Together, they would face the challenges ahead and ensure that Alice visions don't come to past. Edward had to make sure he and his family was safe and secure from outside Intruders. He would devise a plan with the Cullen's and then confront bella about what she has been up to behind his back
Little did they know, they were too late once bella sacrificed her blood to the wessex coven and did the incantation relying the desires of her heart their species's very existence was in danger.
