The moon rose at the top of Jeju Island, three mermen on the sand remembered with nostalgia their days as part of the group, oblivious to the conflicts and wars that occurred in its peaceful waters.
Seung Kwan who left his head on the lap of the oldest of his best friends could not prevent his lips from expelling a sigh.
Ji Soo smiled weakly, stroking the blue strands of Kwan's hair, while Ming Hao leaned on her shoulder, hugging him.
Since the destined one with the lilac fin told him about the current war, they couldn't help but be upset, they were no longer sure, none of them three, they feared that something would happen to their acquaintances and relatives.
"What will you do?" Ming Hao asked in a whisper to the cat-eyed man who was staring off into the horizon.
" I don't know, I don't know anything about myself, about my old family, they are only blurred memories, so I don't lose anything if I look for my parents, I don't have the slightest idea what to do." He calmly sincere.
" What if you are the son of Queen Soo Young ? You could stop the war." the blue-haired one exposed so that the purple-finned one gently denied.
" Kwannie, that's not going to happen. The kings had no descendants, I'm sure of that." he said, perplexing the minors who left their comfortable position to sit in front of his fluffy-lipped friend.
" Ji Soo who told you that ? Do we all tell the story of the lost prince from childhood ."the one of Chinese origins.
contradicted."I even remember that they were envious of you for being a lavender-finned newt like in the story." The youngest added.
Ji Soo could only laugh in disbelief, it was too much of a coincidence, as well as delusional in many ways that his parents were just going to be kings.
" It's impossible, your aunt assured me, she said she belonged to an irrelevant family, who didn't want to have descendants so they left me there, just when I was looking in the texts that the royal scribes had left in our caves for a while." JiSoo explained so that the blue fins denied.
"She lied, you were from a powerful family, and they cried when they left you, so much so that my parents kept saying it, they left you to protect you." Seung Kwan recounted while playing with the sand.
"Your parents were kings, that would explain my aunt's contempt for you, that would explain how you got your moon ring when you were only ten years old," Hao assured.
All the information stunned each one of his senses, he wasn't sure if he wanted to know the truth or not. He was not a hero to be brave in those events. He wanted to know something but fear also acted on himself.
"Jeong Han, it is his duty to tell you the truth. He is a merman of wisdom, he is bound to answer direct questions that is the curse of him." Seung Kwan commented.
" There is no need to go to that, I trust him." Ji Soo denied getting up from the whitish ground .
" I know, but that doesn't prevent me from wanting to protect you and therefore hide the truth." Ming Hao sentenced before a confused Joshua walked towards the house of the gold - colored fin .
Mingyu carefully examined each movement of who he considered his "best friend", hatred bloomed every time he looked at him, he could not understand how a family of mermen as strong as the red-finned ones decided to withdraw from the conflict and subordinate themselves to the lavender-finned ones.
He was pathetic to him, every aspect of Choi Seung Cheol made him despise him.
Ji Hoon, who had never liked him at all, was staring at him trying to figure out what he was thinking, turning around after a few seconds, he could take for an event that the contempt was mutual.
