Allani- A poet who grew up in a religious family. She had a dog and a cat, but later the cat died form a sickness and because she loves her pets, she cried a lot for her. She has a magic box that contains her thoughts. She can release them by opening the box. Jack got adopted by her family before the apocalypse. They got along well, their relatives love him too, the neighborhood was a friendly, Christian town, everyone at school was nice,(her friends even offered to be Jack's friends too) life was ok. But the foster child association did not like that Jack was growing up in a religious family, so they took him away despite his foster family trying hard to keep him. Jack was sad by this because they were one of the few families that were nice to him. They got reunited after the apocalypse when Jack went for a late night walk without any lights as you can see on the previous page.
Annike- Also a poet. She is almost the same as Allani. Except a few differences. A. Allani was a normal girl in a religious family. Annike is also a girl in a religious family, but they were part faerie. B. Their adoptions stories are different. Jack was her adopted brother after the apocalypse. You can hear about her in the story called "Annike the Poet" by yours truly.
Charlotte- She is the only biological sister of Jack. She is a few years younger then Jack and is mute meaning she can't talk. Since she is younger and good at playing the adorable-little-sibling card, so everyone is glad to hold on to her except Jack who has the moody older brother card used on her. She looks similar to Jack, but just younger and looks more adorable.
