𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 ♡

"Hey."

Chenle looks up and smiles. "Oh, hi."

"Is Donghyuck here?"

"He ran out to go do something. Um, do you need him?"

"No, I was just wondering if he was gonna come try to embarrass you."

Chenle chuckles. "He would." His eyes flickers to the two girls sitting at the table in the corner. "Are you planning on eating? Donghyuck told me what your usual is."

"Um, I might but I don't think I'll have the usual today. I'm craving dessert."

"Want a menu?" Jisung nods and watches Chenle grab a dessert menu. "Do you want the regular one too?"

"I'm good." Jisung looks around. "Also, aren't you supposed to be cooking?"

"Not right now. The other day, we discovered that I'd make a very useful server so I'm trying this out."

Just then, Chenles coworker appears to grab more menus. "I see Hyuck rubbed off on you."

"Is that a bad thing?"

"I'm afraid you'll pass out if I tell you what I mean." She then smiles at Jisung. "Hello by the way."

"Hi."

"No one really cares that you're standing here but", she taps the dessert menu, "please order something."

Jisung chuckles. "Got it."

When he's not looking, the girl mouths 'Ask for his number'. Chenles eyes widen in horror and he looks at Jisung, relieved to see he's not looking and then shakes his head.

He turns back to Jisung and flushes when he sees the male watching him in amusement.

"Did you...pick something?"

"I did. Also..." Jisung takes out a black pocket journal and a pen and scribbles something down before ripping the paper out and giving it to Chenle.

Chenles eyes widen when he sees the phone number written down. "You saw that, didn't you?"

"I saw your face and had a feeling. Do you mind?"

"Not at all. I'll, um, go put your order in."

"You're really cute by the way."

Chenle squeaks and disappears into the kitchen and glares at his co-worker who laughs. "You look mad at me but I see you did get his number."

"What's up with you and Hyuck and that Jisung guy?" The main cook, Jaehyun, asks.

"Jae, leave them alone. You know Hyuck gets bored when Jeno can't visit."

"Who's Jeno?"

"Hyucks best friend. He is fine by the way." Jaehyun rolls his eyes. "Anyways, Hyuck is friendly and likes to talk and then you are new and there's no harm in getting cute guys numbers. Isn't that right, Jae?"

"Yeah, whatever."

The girl pulls Chenle to the side and whispers, "If he ever bothers you, threaten to tell Hyuck. He's his favorite."

"You done yet?" Jaehyun asks.

Bree smiles at Jaehyun and blows a kiss before walking out of the kitchen. Chenle glances after her and then looks back at Jaehyun. "Does that usually happen?"

"What happens if I answer that?"

Chenle shrugs. "Nothing."

"Right. What did you come back here for?"
