A couple weeks later of investigation, Ike and Vox walked into the police station, both clearly feeling the tension of their forced proximity. Vox couldn't help but notice the way Ike was ignoring him, clearly trying to dodge any flirting or playful banter that Vox attempted to initiate.

"So, is this the case we've been working on together?" Vox asked, trying to break the silence.

Ike hesitated for a moment before responding, clearly not interested in giving any more information than necessary. "Yes, we're here to collect more evidence and hopefully get a bigger lead on the case."

Vox nodded, clearly not bothered by Ike's lack of responsiveness. "Yeah, that makes sense. Well, I guess we should get started then."

As they made their way through the halls, Vox couldn't help but flirt with Ike, knowing that he had no choice but to spend the next few days with him.

"Hey Ike, those glasses really make you look cute," Vox said, looking at the thin black glasses Ike was wearing.

Ike hesitated for a moment, unsure of how to respond to the unexpected compliment. He knew that Vox was clearly flirting with him, but he also knew that he needed to stay focused on the task at hand.

"Thanks," Ike said, his voice soft and filled with a bit of embarrassment.

Vox smirked at him, clearly enjoying the effect he was having on Ike. "They really do make you look all professional and stuff."

Ike rolled his eyes, feeling a bit annoyed. He knew that Vox was just trying to get under his skin, but he also knew that he couldn't afford to let his emotions get the best of him.

"Can we please just focus on the case at hand?" Ike asked, his voice firm and no-nonsense.

Vox shrugged, clearly not bothered by the rejection. "Sure, whatever you say."

As they walked into the evidence room, Ike couldn't help but feel a bit of tension between them. He knew that this forced proximity was going to be a challenge, but he also knew that the case was more important than any personal feud that might've existed between them.

He was determined to do whatever it took to get a bigger lead on the case, even if it meant putting up with Vox's flirting and playful banter.

As Ike and Vox walked out of the evidence, they were immediately greeted by the sight of Officer Nina, the head of the department they were working with. Nina was a no-nonsense woman who took her job very seriously, and Ike knew that he would need to be on his A-game to keep up with her.

"Gentlemen, it's good to see you both here," Nina said, gesturing for them to take their seats. "I've got some new information on the case that I think will be helpful for your investigation."

Ike nodded, feeling a sense of determination wash over him. "We're here to do whatever it takes to help get a bigger lead on the case, so anything you have is appreciated."

Nina nodded, a slight smile playing on her lips. "Well, we've just received some new surveillance footage from the crime scene that might shed some light on who the perpetrator might be."

Vox's eyes lit up, clearly excited about the possibility of getting closer to figuring out who had framed him. "Can we see it?" he asked, his voice impatient.

Nina nodded, pulling up the footage on her computer. "Take a look," she said, gesturing to the screen.

Ike and Vox both watched the footage intently, taking in every detail they could. It wasn't long before they both noticed something that caught their attention.

"Wait, go back," Ike said, pointing to the screen. "Who's that in the corner?"

Nina paused the footage, zooming in on the figure in question. "That," she said, "is the suspect we've been looking for."
