"Mom" I called. I was starting to panic when my mom came. "Yes honey? " She asked. And then she saw the package. "Oh." was all she said. Then she just smiled sadly and said "I'll leave it to you to open it. It's okay don't worry. " That was when I knew that there was something wrong. My mom always told me everything. She was always happy and never talked about my dad. But now I was starting to wonder if the strange reaction had something to do with him. So of course I could not wait any more and I ripped it open. It held a tiny little box in it. I opened the box and inside I saw the most beautifully carved out raven. I looked at it more closely and saw that it was made out of bone. Suddenly I remembered that I had to go to Luna's today. I simply shoved the raven in my pocket and ran to her place. She would know what to do. Or so I thought.
