Blinded By A Storm

Chapter 8

                                  *+Mei Pov+*

As everyone was hyped and so was i, we finally gonna have the first piece! Come to think of it its like the rings all other again- i meann dont get me wrong i love training and hanging with redson and how much he changed because of me is heartwarming,

I got up and was ready to go but got pulled over "woah there, you cant come with us, its too dangerous -" i frown tilting my head in confusion "But we trained! I was good at it and you know it" i cross my arms "You did good but not good enough.. Its for your own good" he sighs "I would have loved you'd come but your not ready" 

He pats my shoulder "Sandy is staying here too, so you could have some company while we are gone" 

i nod sure i was mad because of how his treating me like a little girl but im still easy to  lose a fight and besides he cares about me even though he lied about it a million times his just too stubborn sometimes  he then leaves with mk , tang , pigsy mk did call wukong and he was on his way too

Redboi didnt want wukong to come but they convinced him i guess i sigh as i always miss out on the fun stuff sucks to suck.

"Um, mei are you alright?" sandy asks clearly worried by how he sounds "Yes im fine, i just wanted to go with them.." sandy hums in response "You need sum tea? We could drink tea while talking?" i nod smiling "Thanks sandy" he pats my back gently "Anytime, kiddo" 

*+Meanwhile With The Others+*

"Ugh where is this stupid monkey??" pigsy asked mk "Not sure he said his on the way-" mk replied scratching the back of his head "well im done with this waiting might as well wait at the ship-" as redson turned he was faced with a monkey king "No need im already here" wukong snickered as a redson was wondering how the hell did he arrive this fast 

"Ah monkey king!" mk ran to wukong giving him a hug "Hey bud! Missed me much?" wukong smiled as mk was like a son to him he loves him dearly 

They let go of the hug and turn to the others "sooo? Whats that old abandoned temple?" redson glared at him then speaking "This is the old temple the dragon ancestors kept their artifacts." wukong tilted his head in confusion as this sounds like a very easy heist- if you may call it that "Well then lets go in!"

Mk almost ran in there but was grabbed by a very pissed off redson "URGH You peasants know nothing about this temple do you?? " they all shake their heads as redson explained it the temple has many defense systems the only way thats easy is to  be sneaky and quiet and pay attention to your surroundings

They obviously didnt care and redson knew that they were just the 'wing it till you make it' type of people they all at the end went in there and started snooping around "WOAH so many precious artifacts in here! I wonder, why did they leave it here?" tang wondered as he was investigated a sword that appealed to him i guess

"Eh maybe they were attacked who knows" mk responded while shrugging "What are we looking for anyway?" sun wukong asked "A necklace piece that has a dragon symbol craved on it " redson replied leaning on a half broken pillar

"How do you know all of this?-" wukong asked redson narrowing his eyes red shrugs "i just do," wukong was suspicious of redson but shrugs it off 

*+ Back W Mei And Sandy +*

"This is nice actually -" Mei takes a sip of tea while enjoying the warmth of the sunlight "Yeah, theres nothing tea cant calm!" mei hums in response "You said it boss," they both sat there enjoying their time "Hey sandy?" "Yes?" "Can you teach me more therapy lessons they are pretty helpful" Sandy nods cheerfully "Of course!" 

Sandy tells mei lessons about therapy and how to relief yourself and focus more on the good things rather than the negatives she happily listened to everything he said as for mei she loved sandy his caring and loving "Oh yes also therapy cats! Speaking of, Mo!"

Mo meows happily running to his owner purring in his hands "Aw mo what a cute lil kitty" mei extends her hand then feels a fluffy cat wiping its face on her hand mo then lays on her lap taking a nap

Mei didnt dare to move was stroking the cats head gently "hm, maybe i should get a cat too" mei mumbles quietly not to wake the kitty on her lap.

*+Back With The Heist+* 

The heist gang keep going deeper and deeper till they stumbled upon a big door with a dragon symbol in the middle as the gang tried to push through the door but there was no use redson looked at the door it had rusty edges then it hit him "noodle boy use your staff carefully this temple can collapse by any loud nois-" "Yea yea got it" he aims his staff 

Then makes it a bit bigger then throws it while saying his famous catchphrase "HERE, COMES, MONKIE KID!" as he threw the staff and it sending off the door flying they all cheer and go in except for redson he was wondering how was mei now thinking about it he regrets not taking her since there wasnt any danger he sighs following the others

"WOAH LOOK!" they all look up to where mk was pointing it was a small glass case with a necklace piece inside of it "Thats it!" redson happily said wagging his tail "Then lets go get it!" "WAIT-" mk stepped on the tiles that were near the case that made an alarm go off suddenly the ground was shaking

Infront of them was a giant dragon mech "Must Eliminate Intruders." it said with a he'vy tone as it got its sword out and aimed it at them "RUNN" They all scatter around while mk and wukong tried to fight it off  while it was distracted redson ran to case quickly snatching the piece

The mech noticed and it smacked redson across the room redsons back was bleeding the wall he got flinged at was kinda spiky he hissed at the pain then told everyone they had to go now 

They ran to the boat while scaring the shit ou sandy and mei "DRIVE NOW" wukong yelled the mech was basically about to grab the boat but they managed to escape barely.

"What happened??" mei asked her face worried and concerned same with sandy "its f-fine argh-.." he hissed at the pain "redboi are you okay?-.." "i-.." before he could finish he fell conscious on the floor the last thing he could hear was the worried voices of his friends calling his name.

(well- this is something new hhhh i promise next chapter is gon be fluffy i honestly didnt know who should attack em so i thought eh why not a mech? Lol hope ya'll enjoyed this xD sending lots of love n hugsss <33)
