Blinded By A Storm

Chapter 13

I opened up my eyes to found out that we were cuddling - i took a few minutes to remember what happened and eventually i did, it was that thunderstorm wasnt it?- i sigh quietly as she was still sleeping next to me -

I'm still embarrassed - all i can say is that im thankful that she didnt see the mess i was during that time, 

i looked at the time - its very early compared to when i usually wake i then looked at her she was sleeping peacefully, while very quiet snores can be heard i smiled at the sight of my eyes,

But i do need to get up- at the same time i do not want to disturb her sleep and this feeling is quite nice. . .

i snuggled even closer to her Fine, maybe five more minutes- then to my suprise i felt arms wrap me, i then realized that i might've woken her up- but when i looked she was still sleeping-

Does she sleep- hug?? Strange but acceptable i suppose but am i trapped now? 

I tried to get out gently but her grip became tighter - i cant leave till i have to wake her up dont i?- i groan quietly trying to figure something out, but then decided to accept defeat and wake her up,

"Hey dragon girl-?" no response, still sleeping i shook her a little . . . No response hmph, seems like shes a heavy sleeper-  i kept trying, and trying but she wont wake up

I shook my head then tried to wiggle out since her grip is less tight and made it to the bottom of bed "Yes!" i said quietly celebrating my victory then i noticed her arms hug her chest with a frown on her face 

I felt bad, but i had to get up , for who knows where the last two pieces are? I had to go and get the book and read it some more, but before i did i grabbed the dragon girl's plushie also known as,

Sushi. 

I went towards her placing the plush next to her she immediately hugged it in her sleep- then smiled i swear she always amazes me in weird ways,

I decided to leave the room before being greeted by a giant blue man, "Why hello there redson!"  he gently smiled strangely this time the cat is not with him its probably sleeping- i wondered "Morning," i greeted him back with a small smile

"I see your back is gettin better huh? If so then im glad!" he then extended his hand and ruffled my hair gently "I suppose its better than last time, thanks.." i mumbled the last part 

He chuckled "Anytime! Im Always here to help my friends in need" i smiled fondly at him then quickly shook my head "Well i'll be off now," sandy waved goodbye and i made my way to where the book was at,

I picked it up and decided to to spend the morning reading and analyzing where the other two places are at 

Two hours passed and theres no progress at all, but i had to keep on pushing for her..

. . .

Four hours passed and there was a lil progress happening i was getting filled with hope , then i heard a familiar voice call my name, "HEYY REDBOYY whatcha doingg?" ugh took you long enough "Good afternoon, just reading and analyzing stuff," she hummed "sandy told me you were sitting here for six hours- is that correct?" she narrowed her eyes i gulped since she did tell me not to overwork myself about it and so did my dad well. He doesn't know about this but whatever

I sighed "Yeah," her face softened "Listen, you dont have to do this, please take a rest," i looked in her eyes but looked away growling  "I just want you to be happy, i know you hate me doing this but i have to,. . For you." i looked down slightly blushing

"Redson, please i didnt tell you to stop, just want you to rest, do it for me." 

. . .

"Did you even eat anything??" i looked at the book, then at her then stood up "No, not hungry" she gasped then threw her hands on my shoulders "Your going to eat, and rest either you like it or not." she sounded caring and threatening at the same time- "Wha?- mei theres no need! It has been only six hours-" she then shushed me up by covering my mouth with her hand "And thats enough, redson go rest, i will tell sandy to make something for you," 

At this moment theres no hope for me to win this, and maybe some rest can be good, "FINEE" she then removed her hand "Good boy!" she said as cheerful as ever i- wha.. Huh? she then pat my head twice my tail started to swing crazy after hearing that- 

"Alright go upstairs now, you've done so much you deserve it," i blushed but then she left - i actually listened to what she said and went upstairs and flopped on the bed and sighed in relief i was happy that she cared about my well being- i mean she always had but it just flutters me everytime 

Ever since i've trained her we grew closer and closer to what we are now, a couple i never thought i would find someone like her, hell even a girlfriend like her i was so lucky to have her, and i wont let anything or anyone hurt her.

And thats a promise i'll keep to myself

After a while sandy came in and mei after him , he was holding a tray that had food in and a cup of coffee the smell was astonishing and i was quiet hungry- "Here you go lil redman!" he smiles placing the tray in front of me 

I was honestly speechless, by how the food looked "Thanks- sandy." the blue man then ruffles my hair saying its no big deal and all that then we three decided to chat for a bit they were talking about the adventures they had,

Hearing them makes it seem fun but its stressful and can be dangerous , nonetheless that didnt stop them 

Eventually sandy had to go and it was just me and mei, i finished my tray and went to wash my hands when i came back though i suddenly felt so tired i dont know how but i suppose a nap wont hurt-

I layed on the bed the dragon girl turned her head towards me "You alright?" she asks tilting her head "Tired." i simply answered then sighed "Then sleep! You need rest anyway right?" 

I looked at her then smiled gratefully "Thank you," she placed her hand on my cheek i blushed at the sudden touch- "Anytime red." i lean in her touch slowly fading away to sleep, 

(AHHH finally an update! I am still thinking of how it'l end so have this fluffy one instead ^^ also srry if im updating late T-T school got me goood :'D ANYWAY see yall's soon and take care <333  )
