The dead of the night is filled with shadowy, ominous clouds. The rain begins to shower down on the two individuals who have already begun their battle. One wore a fancy suit that's stained wet along with mud. The other had a black kitsune mask with red strokes on it. They were clashing into each other in a frenzy, alongside with their weapons as the rainfall fell around them like a witness. Every strike leaves a detectable mark on the ground, but the determination remains relentless as the two individuals continue to fight for their lives.
The man in suit makes a frontal thrust, targeting his sword in the kitsune-masked figure's stomach. But they deflect it with an agile and unexpected counterattack. In an instant, the kitsune masked figure responded by targeting the man in suit's exposed right arm; that was left from his prior attack.
STAB!!

"ARGGHHH!! Damn it!!" the man in suit yelped out in agony. Covering his wound in an attempt to slow down the bleeding.

The kitsune-masked figure stood there for a few moments before stepping forward closer to the man in suit.
"No- no- NO!! Please!! Don't kill me. I beg you to spare my life, please!! I have a wife and daughter. They'll miss me if I die so please!! Don't kill me, I am begging for you!!!" The man in suit continued to wail for mercy with teardrops rushing out of his eyes.
The kitsune-masked figure then unsheathes his stiletto knife. Uttering something that would be the very last thing the man in suit would hear.
"I do not care if you have a family or whatever. You committed Tax Evasion and Fraud. I am only here to bring justice."
"Wha- what!? No, that's just bullshit!! I never committed such atrocities! Now could you please just leave me the fuck alone!?!" he backs off further, trying to escape the figure.

"You have been dodging your taxes for too long." The kitsune-masked figure said coldly.
In desperation, the man in a suit gets up and runs for his life. But the kitsune-masked figure was much faster than him. "I swear, I never done anything wro-"

Shssh- STAB!!
Before the man in suit could finish his sentence, he felt a metal blade penetrating his nape. Soon enough, blood came out as the kitsune-masked figure pulled out their knife from the neck. Letting the man meet his demise as he dropped to the ground. A pool of ichor shortly came out from the man in the suit's chest.

The Kitsune Assassin sighs, glancing at the corpse.
(Well, guess I have to clean this up...) they pout.

With that, they get to work by lowering himself down. They grabbed some towels from their pockets and started to clean up the pool of blood, and then their knife. They were done soon after and concealed the dirty towels inside their pockets.
(Oh wait, that reminds me. I have to do one more thing.)

With the wave of their hands, a dagger knife appears out of sharp crystals and dark energy. Gripping the dagger tightly, they pierce it brutally and quickly with a strong force. It caused the head to be cut off. They then get a plastic bag and place the head inside of said bag. For the final touches, they spread out the blood more with their fingers to make it look like the victim had died getting his head decapitated. The Kitsune Assassin then gets up and then flees the scene by running swiftly and jumping to the top of the buildings.

Minutes have passed, and the kitsune-masked figure arrives at their father's mansion. Souta Tsumagari, the leader of the clan, was waiting for the Kitsune Assassin to arrive and present the victim's head to him in the meeting room. They knock at the fine-looking fusuma door.
"Come in." Souta replied.
The kitsune-masked figure went in as Souta spun around to face them.
"Have you completed your task?" His gaze was serious, awaiting the result.
"Yes, father." In reply, they carefully bring out the victim's head. With little blood dripping from the neck.
"Hmm.. good job. You have done well tonight." Souta gets up from his seat and clasps the victim's head. Placing it in a room where body parts were kept. Specifically putting it inside the gas freezer. Souta goes back to the meeting room where the Kitsune Assassin is waiting.
"As a reward.." pulling out something from his pocket, it was cash. Five thousand yen to be specific. "Here's your money. You deserve it son."
"Wow..." they said with their eyes widening, being quite astonished by the amount of it. Souta puts the yen in his hands and holds it warmly. "Thank you." grinning slightly as they gratefully take the money. Souta embraces the Kitsune Assassin, patting his back.
"Go dress yourself up and rest. There's some snacks in the closet if you're hungry."

He felt thankful for the recognition and affection from Souta. They then hug tightly in return as well as snuggling a little. "Alright." It wasn't too long for them to depart from the meeting room and Souta going back to his work.

The kitsune-masked figure quietly returns to their room. Being cautious to not disturb the sleeping person. Going up to the mirror, he steadily takes off his mask and peers at the mirror before him once he's done. Katsuo looked at his tired expression, where he saw his own Lavender eyes and plump, but pouting lips. Brushing off his wavy bangs, Katsuo takes some moments to look at himself. Exhaling, he strokes the back of his brunette hair and leaned on the table. He could still feel the fatigue and exhaustion from his mission. Feeling as if a big boulder was on top of his back and shoulders.
Yet there was also a sentiment of relief and peace, knowing it was already over. Taking a few more moments to relax, he ponders about the part where he actually had to murder the man in suit. That was before he stands up and heads to the cabinet to dress himself up. First, he undresses his muted-colored attire and puts them in the laundry basket.
Afterwards he grabs his pajamas and puts them on. With his energy running out, Katsuo heads off to his futon and cuddles the soft, white pillows.

His forehead started to ache, and his stomach growled. But Katsuo was too tired to pick himself up from the bed. He wanted to eat something, like an onigiri or biscuit. The fatigue was overwhelming him little by little, and he could not stop his mind from wandering to sleep.
(I wanna eat. But my legs are too tired. Man...)
Katsuo glances at the window, where he can hear the sounds of rain pouring. He already had found comfort in how tranquil the sounds were. Feeling reassured by it, Katsuo slowly drifts away in slumber while hugging his pillow. All the surroundings he saw faded into darkness.
