Part 4 - class project and assigned partners

I walked in my English class with Ms. Stevens, went to my seat and took out my materials for the class. And begin to do other work for another class so I don't have to worry about doing it at home.

As I heard the final bell ring I looked up what I was doing and Ace walked in at the last minute. And seated beside me.

"Ah Mr.Elton glad you could make it with us at the last minute and hope next time you won't be late."
Ms.stevens said

"Now that everyone is here I would like to discuss something that will be assigned to you next class time tomorrow. This assignment will be a project and it's 50% of your grade and you will be working with a partner.

And no you can't work with your friends. I'll assign you to your partner at the end of class today. The project will include the following things of question to ask your partner and to get to know one another.

Now that is done, let's begin the work assignment from the last class and if you're done put it on my desk and you can have your free time for the rest of the class period."She finished of

Ok so I guess we have a project for next class and we have assigned a partner and I hope I don't have to do all the work this time.

Hmm, I think I finished my assignment the other day. But I have to check in my folder. Let's see.
I opened my folder and went through the paper and found it and took it out and scanned it over.

Ok I just need to put my name and that's all. They're done.

[end of head monologue]

I stood up from my desk, grabbed my assignment and walked towards the teacher desk and turned it in and I turned around and walked back to my seat.

As I sat down I heard a voice next to me " you're done already" asked Ace.

I turned my head and looked at him and nodded my head and turned my head back and worked on my other assignments.

I can still feel him staring at me, glancing at me and looking at his assignment and starting working.

30 min passed and it almost end of class and the teacher was assigning partners and she got to me and ended up partnered with Ace FUCKING Elton.

Don't get me wrong I'm happy but at the same time I'm nervous and might actually die.

I think the universe is up to something that I just hope it won't let me down.

"I guess we were partner then Hart." he said

"Yeah, we are" I said

"You really don't really talk much do you" he asked

"Umm I- I just am not comfortable talking to people that I don't know well." I said

"Well I guess this project will do us well then and we talk about it next time then alright" he said

Ok" I replied

The bell rang and went to our last class of the day.
