I'm gonna slow this book down a little bit, because I know realize that I really just got straight to the point in the last chapter. Oh yeah and that's Nathen's wolf above.
Melony's POV
Zee, Nikki, and Shakayla finally decided to join us and all the newly found mates stood in the middle as we all made a huge circle (it's the whole pack). In the middle there was Nikki and Diggy, Shakayla and Derek, Zee and Nathen, Caleb and his mate Madison and a few more mates. Everyone changed into their wolves and the mates began the howl.
Later everyone else joined in and the run began. We got towards the middle of the forest and met an all black wolf. I would've missed it if it wasn't for the green eyes. Supposedly, Alphas Jacob, Rayan, Chresanto, and Craig decided to join us. And since our packs don't like each other, some of my memory started to growl at them.
I just stood their not knowing what to do. Chres took a step towards my pack and I immediately barreled my teeth at him. Since I'm a hybrid, my canines are larger. Jacob snarled at me and I stood there shocked. But snarled back.
Melony- Lucas, take the woman, children and elders back to the pack house as quickly as you can.
Lucas- What about the female warriors Alpha?
Melony- Take them too. Tell some of the males to hide in the trees and some to go back to the pack house.
Lucas- Yes Alpha.
Lucas did as I said and took everybody back to the pack house. Put there was this one pup that didn't follow. Craig's wolf immediately targeted the pup and charged at him. I beat him there and pushed the pup towards the rest of the pack. Craig knocked me off my feet and the fight began.
Derek, Nathen, and Diggy all made their mates go along with the pack, since they are some of the many female warriors. Derek and Chres began to fight. Nathen and RoShawn attacked Jacob. And Diggy and Rayan. That was guts if you asked me. Digy was fighting for us.
Craig slammed his teeth down on my hind leg causing me to fall. He started to shake his head back and forth, with my leg still in this jaws. I slammed my other foot as hard as I could against his face to get him off. He fell back and I stood up.
Lia- Why is he attacking us?!
Melony- I-I don't know.
Craig got back up and started to charge back at me but a blur of tan fur tackled him to the ground.
Nathen- Hurry and go change. I got him.
I knew what he meant by that. I made my way to a tree. I quickly put on a sports bra and basketball shorts. And changed into my other form. My hybrid form. My skin turned blue and black swirls appeared on my arms, legs and the rest of my body. My hair grew and turned white, my vampire and werewolf fangs merged, my eyes turned purple and finally, my hand and toe nails grew forming into claws.
I stepped from behind the tree and immediately got back to attacking Craig. He was a monster. What mind of person attacks a pup. I slashed his hind leg. He yelped and snug his body around and barreled his teeth at me. I took a step back while he took one forward. I turned and ran towards a tree, and sure enough he followed me. I flipped off the tree and he ramed into it. He shook it off and charged at me again.
I grabbed him by his snout and did a cork screw making sure to keep him on the ground. I heard a snap and let go. His snout was placed kind of funny. I must of broke him jaw. I then grabbed his ear and slashed up and down his body. I don't know what took over me, but I was ticked off. Something had bothered my wolf.
I grabbed his snout again and he yelped again. I cracked it back into place and gripped it harder. I began to swing him around in a circle and threw him at Jacob. Something jumped out of one of the trees, and sure enough- it was Sabrina. She kicked me into a tree making it break and fall over. She grabbed something silver out of her pocket and charged at me with it. She grabbed me by my shirt and whipped me around plunging the knife deep into my neck.
I felt my neck and sure enough I was bleeding a lot. It was also burning. It must of been some type of poison. My vision became flashy and blurry. Wolfs Bane. Then everything went black.
I began to see a figure until it unblurred. I saw a brown skinned lady with silver/ brown eyes with no life in them and a weird mark on her temple. She had full lips and eyelashes ton match her eyes. She was dressed in a all white dress with a stone hard expression on her face. She had vampire fangs. Her hair was fairly long and it looked like she was looking out of a window. She suddenly turned her head in my direction and said "I've been waiting for you".
I sat up as quick as possible and couldn't believe my eyes. More people had joined the fight and it looked like we were losing. I stood back up and I could feel the wolfs bane still running through my veins. When I stood all the way up, I went directly towards Jacob.
He looked at me and snarled. He grabbed me by my arm and shook it. I slashed his face and kicked him into a tree. He shook it off and charged at me again. Then we heard a howl cracking through the air. A powerful howl. In a flash a wolf came through the air and targeted another wolf. My dad was fighting his dad.
Somethings not right.
Why is Jacob fighting Melony's pack? Does the lady have anything to do with this? Why the hell did Sabrina stab Melony with a knife? Do you guys hate me?
