Vader's P.O.V

I slipped on the armour, it was light and I had already tested it with the force and made a few personal changes like hidden lightsaber pockets and such, I put on my robes and admired my reflection. It was obvious I was wearing armour underneath my robes but it didn't look bad or make loud noises when I move, there wasn't much need for its ability at hiding a pregnancy stomach yet because my stomch was completely flat. Obi ran up to me and I kissed him as he gave me one last hug "You better come back." Obi threataned
"Of course, I couldn't let you deal with Tarkin's paperwork alone." I joked as I put on my mask, Obi smiled and copied me, then he walked with me to the hanger bay.

He pulled me aside when we were nearly there into an empty room to hug me again
"I love you." he whispered into my ear. I looked at him
"Stop saying it like its so final, I'll be back soon." I promised, we walked back out but he stopped at the door into the hanger and I could feel him watching me as I walked towards the Troopers.
"Lord Vader sir!" the leading Storm Trooper said in shock "I didn't know you were coming!" he said and his voice was now positively dripping with glee, all the other Troopers began yelling and cheering, I tilted my head as I looked to Obi who still stood in the corner and gave him a small inconspicuous wave before I gestured to the leading Storm Trooper "Attention!" he called, all the troops quickly stilled and stomped "I know fighting with Lord Vader is a moral boost, but lets save it for the enemy," he started walking to the ship and I followed him. I sensed a few troopers quesy about the fact that I was wearing armour so I used the force on all the troopers -even the ones on the planet- so that they got the feeling that my armour was for personal reasons not a step up in the rebel threat. Sometimes it annoys me how gullable my troopers are.

Trooper's P.O.V

We watched as a shuttle flew down from the atmosphere and we all cherred for the reinforcements as it landed infront of us, I couldn't help but hope Lord Vader was on it. The Troopers all walked out in rows and Lord Vader followed behind them. At first my face fell when I saw Vader was wearing armour, had the rebels got that bad? But then I realised how cool it looked, Vader had been slowly upgrading his look since the old emperor died, this was probably just that. The officer who had been watching from a window in the base quickly ran down, he had never looked so scared which I could understand but not agree with. You see Vader was always killing officers, but he had never touched a storm trooper- at least not for no reason, so I knew I was safe from him- but I wasn't safe from the battle, and what did Vader rule over? The battle field.

Vader's P.O.V

I swung my lightsaber at as many of the rebel troopers as I could unil every single on of them was dead, I turned around and started to follow the troopers back to base when a lone rebel yelled a battle cry and ran at me. I sighed and gripped him in a force choke, I was just about to snep his neck when I was accidentally caught an memory from his mind,

Haha! Daddy! Daddy! Look at me! I'm dark Vader!

The Jedi weren't innocent! They were corrupt, and they made a war! They were peace keepers, who failed to keep the peace! Even before the war they failed, there was still slavery and murders!

Hes killed rebels too, and he started this war

No daddy, you started this war. The rebels are the bad side, I mean Darth Vader isn't doing things perfectly, but he is doing things, thats more than you or the Jedi could say

I looked at the rebel, who in the seven sith hells was the mother to have a 5 year old daughter like that? Or maybe she was older, I was never good with children, MaStEr sKyWaLkEr WhAt aRe We gOiNg To dO. But nevertheless I threw the rebel to the side, I watched as he screambled for breath on the groud, I looked behind me in the force to make sure no one was watching and he looked up at me in fear
"Rebel, you should listen to your daughter," and I turned around and left.
"Wait!" a hoarse voice called, I turned around
"Yes?" I asked,
"Why spare me? Why not anyone else?" he asked, it was a message that would hopefullly get across to him and the rebels, that I was mercyful, that I didn't kill for no reason, that they were the wrong side and The Empire wasn't horrible or corrupt; but I didn't say anything, the rebel hesitated as the slowly started to drag himself away "Are you going to track me down and kill my family? Is that why your letting me go? Is my daughter force sensitive is that why you know of her?!" he questioned
"No." I said, its was an answer to all of his questions. Now finally, I walked away.

After we got back to the base and I had destroyed all the security camras and microphones in my room per usual, I called Obi
