Fallen Too Far

STORY 1 - CRASHED LOVE

Y/N and Jungkook have been together for 7 years, but they had spent most of their time apart. Jungkook was an aircraft pilot who had to travel around the world, while Y/N was a doctor who stayed in Seoul. They loved each other deeply, but they missed each other terribly.

They had planned to celebrate their 7th anniversary together, but Jungkook's flight schedule was changed at the last minute. He had to fly to New York on the day of their anniversary, and he wouldn't be back until the next day. He apologized to Y/N over the phone, and promised her that he would make it up to her when he returned.

"I love you so much, Y/N. You're the best thing that ever happened to me. I'll be back soon, okay?" he said.

"I love you too, Jungkook. Please be safe. I'll be waiting for you," Y/N said.

They hung up, and Y/N felt a pang of sadness in her heart. She wished she could see him, hug him, kiss him. She wished they could spend their anniversary together, like a normal couple.

But she understood that his job was important, and that he was doing his best. She trusted him, and she knew he loved her. She decided to prepare a surprise for him when he came back. She bought a cake, some candles, and a gift. She decorated their apartment with balloons and photos of their memories. She wanted to make him happy, and show him how much she appreciated him.

Meanwhile, Jungkook was on his way to New York. He felt guilty for leaving Y/N alone on their anniversary. He wished he could be with her . He wished they could spend their anniversary together.

But he knew that his job was important, and that he was doing his best. He loved her, and he knew she loved him. He decided to surprise her by coming back early. He managed to change his flight schedule again, and came back to seoul in the earliest flight possible. He wanted to make her happy, and show her how much he missed her.

He boarded the plane, and took his seat in the pilot's room . He texted Y/N, telling her that he loved her and that he would see her soon. He didn't tell her that he was coming back early. He wanted to surprise her.

He put his phone away, and started the plane. He smiled, thinking of Y/N's reaction when he showed up at their door.

The plane took off, and flew into the sky.

Y/N woke up the next morning, feeling excited. She checked her phone, and saw Jungkook's text. She smiled, and texted him back.

"Good morning, my love. I love you too. I can't wait to see you," she wrote.

She got up, and got ready for the day. She wore a dress that Jungkook liked, and put on some makeup. She wanted to look beautiful for him.

She checked the time, and saw that it was almost noon. She knew that Jungkook's flight would land soon. She decided to go to the airport, and pick him up. She wanted to surprise him.

She grabbed her keys, and left the apartment. She locked the door behind her, and walked to the bus stop.

She boarded the bus, and sat down. She looked out the window, and saw the sky. It was cloudy and gray.

She hoped that Jungkook's flight would be safe.

Jungkook who was busy driving the aircraft, received a break and checked his phone which received a message from y/n

"Good afternoon, my love. I love you too. I'll be there soon," he texted back.

He looked out the window, and saw the sky. It was cloudy and gray.

He hoped that the weather would clear up soon.

He put his phone away, and sat down again. He buckled his seat belt, and as a captain announced that they were about to land.

He felt a surge of excitement in his chest.

He couldn't wait to see Y/N.

Y/N arrived at the airport, feeling nervous. She checked the flight information board, and looked for Jungkook's flight number.

She found it, and saw that it was delayed by an hour.

She felt a twinge of disappointment in her heart.

She wondered what had happened.

She decided to wait at the arrival gate, and watch for Jungkook's plane.

She walked to the gate number 7B ,and sat down on a bench.

She looked at the runway ,and saw several planes landing and taking off.

She hoped that one of them would be Jungkook's.

Jungkook felt a jolt of fear in his stomach.

The plane was shaking violently, and the oxygen masks had dropped from the ceiling.

He had announced that they were experiencing severe turbulence, and that they had to make an emergency landing . He and his mates tried hard to save the passengers . And soon they realised that there was no chance of them to survive through the crash. And some were praying for miracles to happen, some were trying to reach their family.

He heard screams and cries from the passengers around him.

He grabbed his phone, and tried to call Y/N.

He wanted to hear her voice, one last time.

He wanted to tell her that he loved her, one last time.

But the call didn't go through

He felt tears in his eyes, and a lump in his throat.

He looked at the window, and saw the ground getting closer and closer.

He closed his eyes, and whispered her name.

"Y/N..."

Y/N felt a shock of horror in her soul.

She heard a loud explosion, and saw a fireball rising from the runway.

She saw smoke and debris flying in the air.

She saw people running and screaming in panic.

She realized that it was Jungkook's plane that had crashed.

She felt her heart stop, and her world shatter.

She dropped her phone, and fell to her knees.

She screamed his name, over and over again.

"Jungkook!"

Y/N never recovered from the tragedy. She lost her will to live, and her reason to smile. She spent her days in grief and despair. She blamed herself for Jungkook's death. She wished she had been on that plane with him. She wished they had died together.

She kept their apartment as it was, with the cake, the candles, and the gift. She never opened the gift. She never knew what it was. She never knew that it was a necklace with their names engraved on it. She never knew that Jungkook had bought it for their anniversary. She never knew that he had planned to propose to her when he came back.

She lived in their apartment, alone and broken. She waited for Jungkook to come back, even though she knew he never would. She waited for him, until the day she died.

She died of a broken heart, on their 9th anniversary.
