Axel

I headed up to my office, my cup of espresso in hand. I unlocked my office doors and walked through, closing them behind me. I sat at my desk, sipping my espresso pensively for a few moments.

I opened my computer and clicked on André Faranella's file. Fabrice had set up a 24/7 surveillance team on him. But now I needed to find a way to capture and question him.

I picked up the phone and dialed Fabrice's number.

"Allô, Chef?" He spoke into the phone.

"Allô, Fabrice. I think I know a way to get to Faranella."

"Great, I'm on my way. We shouldn't talk about this over the phone." Fabrice said before hanging up.

I agreed, who knew who was listening.

I looked out of the large window in my office and saw Laila walking over to the stables, talking with Theo as he accompanied her.

He better not be trying to make a move on her...

Any man that did would get his face blown off.

I looked back at them, agression scribbled over my face.

I turned away from the window in an attempt to control myself. I stood up, leaning on my heavy wooden desk as I did so. I paced around my office, and decided I needed to blow off some steam. I left my office, and locked the doors before walking down to the ground floor. I walked towards the basement and pushed open the heavy metal door.

"Who wants to tell me what they know?" I said with a grin as I spun my glock around my finger.

. . .

Michael and Xavier had come down into the basement with me.

There were 5 men sitting in a row, each bound to a chair. I roughly pulled the cloth out of each man's mouth before standing back.

"Which one of you cons was in charge of blowing up my fucking office?" I said with a smile.

None of them replied to my question.

"I'll only ask one more time," I said calmly, "Which one of you was in charge of blowing up my office building in Paris?" I asked again, a lot more sternly this time.

Still, none of them talked.

I cocked my gun and pointed it at one of the men's foot. The gun fired and suddenly, the room was filled with screams of agony.

"I'll take a foot and a hand from each of you to get you to talk, mark my words." I said calmly.

I walked around them slowly for a few minutes, none of them said a word.

"Who's next?" I said as I pointed the gun at the right hand of the man on the furthest chair to the right.

The gun fired in less than a second and I could see the bullet passing through his hand as blood splashed him and the floor.

Before I could blink, his screams and sobs filled the room as well, nearly an echo to the previous man's yells of pain.

"I could do this all day." I smiled at them.

"Fine..." One of them said.

He was the smallest of them all, he was sat between the two guys that got shot.

"I lead the team. We didn't know it was your office. We thought it was just a government building, like the others." He spoke, out of breath.

"And do you happen to think that the building my club is in is an office building as well?" I asked while chuckling sinisterly.
