The whole building was filled with children crying, laughing and talking. Their parents had trouble in controlling them. She was watching it all with a smile on her face. She had a fear inside because every child which comes from the cabin was either crying or whimpering because of the injection.
"Sivaangi" the nurse called her. It was her turn. She mustered up her courage.
She slowly opened the door and peeked into the cabin. There the doctor was sitting and fiddling with something.
Nurse called her inside and she sat on the chair opposite him.
He was so handsome. His silky hair floated according to his movements. His brown chocolate orbs were intoxicating as one could get drunk just by seeing his eyes. His lips were soft and tender and the upper lip is slightly thin than the lower. He had a mole on his left right below his beard. He was like a Disney prince jumped straight out of Tangled. Eugene Fitzherbert. She is his Rapunzel, maybe?
She came back to reality when she heard him talking to her. He was asking her something.
"Enna kettinga?" She blinked like a lost puppy.
"What's your problem?"
"I don't have any–"
She stopped midway and remembered where she was.
"Actually I have. I had been suffering from stomach pain since last night."
"Enna saptinga?"
"French fries, veg burger, ice cream, sandwich aprom konjama curd rice... Avlo dhaan.... In fact, ithu ellame veg...." She pouted.
"Aprom varaama?" He muttered.
"Excuse me?" she glared at him.
"Nurse, ivangala kootitu poi naan sonna injection potu vidunga..."
"Injection ah?" She screamed.
"Please, injection vendam.." she pleaded like a child.
Her twinkling eyes reflected her soul. He chuckled lightly and informed nurse not to put injection.
Sivaangi sighed and sat on the chair with a thud.
"Thanks much doctor. Aama, neenga ellarukkum oosi poduvingala?"
"Aama.. That's my duty.."
"Aprom yen enakku mattum podala?"
"Thonala.."
"Thonala ya?"
"Nee romba bayandha... Athaan podala.."
"Ok doc. I have some work... Naan varen..."
She got her prescription and stood from the chair.
"Marakkama tablets podunga... 2 days kazhichu marubadiyum vaanga..."
"2 days after ethukku?"
"Workout aagutha illa ya nu check pannanum la....Tablet..."
He smirked...
"Ohhh... Ok bye, Mr..." she looked at the name batch he wore on his shirt. "Ashwin Kumar." She grinned. "Ungala maariye unga perum azhaga irukku..." she said and left the cabin.
He had never seen a patient like her in his career. Chirpy, bubbly,.talkative, beautiful..... He had an unknown connection with her. Like, he wanted to spend his entire lifetime with her. This was a strange feeling for a man like him.
....
He went to his home and he found his cat circling around him. He took it in his hand and caressed it.
