Surprise help from a wind-
Sky was glad to get a day off from his duties but he was still constantly worried and feeling unwell. Sky rested in his bad and had a warm rag and a bowl of hot water right beside him.
He wanted to burn off this sickness so he can return to his duties soon.
"So boring and I hate being sick." Sky said to himself as he sounded like a stuffy kid that gets colds so often in the winter.
Suddenly a knock was at Sky's door and Sky sat up from the bed wondering who could it be. It could be the prince or maybe Rain. Sky heard the knock again and decided to get up and open it.
Sky stepped back in shock as he saw Prince Prapai as his door step. He leaned against the door frame with a smirk.
"So the rumors were true, you were off duty today." Prapai stepped in as he closed the door behind him.
Sky stepped back further as his legs hit the mattress of his bed.
"P-Prince Prapai, what are you doing here?" Sky asked him.
Prapai was ready to answer until he heard how Sky sounded and expected the room around and saw a bowl of water and a rag. He sees that Sky doesn't look well and he is actually sick.
"Are you really sick?" Prapai asked and Sky nodded slowly in response.
"Prince Venice told me to stay in and get better since I have a bit of a fever." Sky admitted and Prapai sighed.
"You should have said something first before you decide to let me in. Now get back into bed Sky." Prince Prapai ordered and Sky nodded and climb back into bed.
Prapai followed as he stood beside the sick gaurd. He saw the rag and bowl and just shook his head in disappointment.
"You won't get better if you do this. You need tea and some fever reducer. That should speed your sickness faster."
"But I can't afford fever reducer. I used all my money the other day to buy food with Sir Rain." Sky admitted.
"Then, I'll have the chefs in the kitchen boil and make you some tea and I'll head into town right now and buy you some fever reducer." Prapai suggested.
"You really don't have to take care of me Prince Prapai. I just need rest." Sky try to tell the prince.
Prince Prapai leaned down as he rested his hand on top of Sky's head as he pet it.
"Sky, this is your health and you need to take better care of your body. How can you take care of the Prince Venice if you don't take care of yourself. Just accept the help."
Sky didn't know what to say or do when Prince Prapai was looking at him like that. He was serious and there was nothing Sky could say to change the Prince's mind. Sky nodded and Prapai smirked as he petted Sky's head some more.
Prince Prapai went ahead and left Sky momentarily to tell the chefs to make the tea and have the maids give it to Sky at his room. Durning that time, Prapai is leaving the palace to go fetch for some fever reducer medicine.
He is heading to the best medicine stand in town that will provide the best cure for him. He was in his horse carriage as he saw the stand and order his men to stop.
"Over here, I want to check this spot out." The Prince stated as he hopped out of the carriage.
He walked up to the stand and saw a handsome young man standing behind the stand.
"Oh my goodness! Prince Prapai," he bowed. "It's truly an honor to see you standing at my stand. How many I help you today?" The boy asked.
"I want your best fever reducer. You stand seems formidable and highly presentable."Prince Prapai said to the young boy.
"Fever reducer? Ahh yes, I do have a few with me but different products." The young boy said as he turned around and brought out a display of different types of Fever Reducer.
Prince Prapai looked at each one and red the labels on each one that sounded the best.
"I will take.......this one with me." Prapai made his decision as he took a small gold and white pill bottle.
"Excellent choose your highness. That is my best fever reducer medicine I have. It works twice as fast." The young boy explain.
"How much?" Prapai asked.
"$1,000 baht your highness."
Prapai turn around and ordered one of his guards to hand him the money and Prapai handed the young salesman the money with tip. The young boy smiled and bowed his head to the Prince. Prapai walked back into the carriage and headed straight to Prince Venice's palace once again.
As he arrived, his guards informed him with a message.
"Your highness, Prince Venice and Sir Rain have return home just ten minutes ago after you left."
"I see but I still plan to give this medicine to Sky. I will be back for moment after I return." Prince Prapai stated as he still walked inside.
He opened up Sky's room and saw the boy drinking a cup of tea on the bed. Sky saw that Prapai has return like he promised he did.
"How's the tea?" The Prince asked.
"It's a bit bitter but I know they put special herbs in there for me to get better." Sky admitted.
"That's good and here. I brought you the fever reducer. I got it from the best stand in town. The salesman said it should help you get better faster."
Sky looked at the bottle in surprised.
"T-Thank you your highness."
"Here, let me feed you some." Prapai said as he opened the bottle and took out two pills. "Open your mouth." He commanded and Sky opened his mouth slowly as he let the prince feed him the pill.
The prince handed Sky a cup of water and let him drink some to help the pill go down gently and smoothly. Prapai once again petted Sky's head and smiled gently at the boy.
"There, you should feel better soon. If you're fever acts up again, take more pills okay." The prince reminds and Sky nods in response. "I should get going." He announced and left the Sky's bed room abundantly.
Sky was shocked to see this soft and compassion side of the prince. Prince Prapai has always been so flirty towards him but this was all too new. It shaken Sky a bit and he was certainly not use to it.
But then again, he was grateful that Prince Prapai stood around and tried to make him feel better.
I guess his sick day wasn't so awful after all.
A/N: Sorry for the long wait :(
