In a crisp, dewy morning, I sense your warmth and tenderness.
Wrapped in your soft embrace, I breathe in your kindness.
You dry my tears in such a sweet and tender way.
So soft, that I feel ashamed of your touch.
Gently, you hold me close.
Even after all these years, you still yearn to repair my wounds.
And amidst my sea of regrets, my heart still finds peace within your tender embrace.
Across the toils of life, we both traversed.
But now I'm found within your arms, a warm embrace, a peaceful spot, a cherished place.
Wipe my tears, in the midst of the darkness that surrounds us and that I myself have blinded.
Make me forget the present and take me back to the past, where everything was fine.
"And everything will be fine" as long as I'm by your side.
Embrace me until my tears have dried, and my wounds have scarred.
Until the morning receives us in the same way that your hands touched my face.
Soft as a breath, bringing light.
Dawning fast.
Until that moment where you... are no longer.
The light fades away, taking with it the memory of your embrace.
