Craig POV:

I sighed, rubbing my eyes as I woke from my sleep. I glanced around my room, looking at the glow-in-the-dark stars on my ceiling. I hauled myself out of bed, opening my blinds. I squinted my eyes as the morning rays of sunlight hit them. "Here we go", I utter. My mother was invited to a small party at Stark Pond, and she decided it was awesome to drag me along, hooray...

"Craig! Make sure you're dressed! We're leaving in 15 minutes!" I heard my mother hollar. Just great, I slept past my alarm. I dragged myself over to my closet, picking out my signature blue hoodie and hat. I laid them out, walking over to the bathroom to wash my face. I splashed cool water on my face, letting it wake me up from being half asleep. I dragged myself back to my room, brushing my hair slightly as I put my hoodie and hat on. It's not like anybody from school would be there, it would just be another lame holiday party.

I ran downstairs, grabbed a slice of toast, and sat down to eat it. I only took a few bites before my sister, Ruby, barged in. "I'm so happy about yesterday! I saw Mr. Hanky and now we're going to Stark Pond for a party! I bet there's gonna be so many other kids!" she exclaimed. Her joy would be short-lived once we got there, I shrugged as I thought. "Whatever" I muttered in reply, finishing my toast as I went to the car, hoping in as I saw my mother rush Ruby out the door. I heard her rambling on about something to Ruby, probably something dumb about how we're gonna be late even though the party doesn't start for another 20 minutes, and it doesn't even take long to get there.

My father got into the driver's side, turning the key to the car as I sat in it, feeling the large metal shell burst to life. I sighed, I never liked going to adult parties, luckily I brought my ice skates so I could at least skate while the grown-ups did whatever. I also hate it when adults bring their children to parties meant for adults. What is a 4th grader like me supposed to do? Because I'm certainly not drinking or chatting. I just have to wait it out, that'll be easy, right?

Tweek POV:

I glanced around, the party was brimming with people, and it was only 20 minutes in! God, I'm praying nobody I know is here! Or else that'll be a problem, I didn't even dress up, OH GOD WHAT IF CRAIG'S HERE? THEN HE'LL BULLY ME, AH! WHAT IF HE KILLED ME? I DON'T WANNA DIE! "TOO MUCH PRESSURE, GAH!" I yelled, only a few adults looked my way. Despite being at Stark Pond, we were nowhere near the pond itself, we were just right outside it. I always liked Stark Pond, only because it has trees hiding it, it's a nice place when people aren't at it.

A few adults spoke near me, something about budgeting and stuff, only things an adult would think about really. I sighed as I thought, maybe nobody would be at the pond itself since the party isn't at it directly.

I pushed a few branches aside, avoiding the snow that fell off the branches. I could tell it would snow later because heavy clouds lined the sky. I opened my eyes against the sudden light, gazing across the frozen, icy pond. My gaze followed a figure. Somebody was ice skating on the pond, they moved with grace and elegance, like that of a professional. I looked closer, practically jumping out of my skin as I recognized the figure.

Craig POV:

God I just messed up that last turn, I always miss it usually but at least I remembered it. I'm not that skilled, but I'd call myself above average for my age.

My gaze darted to the forest as I saw movement. A young boy, roughly my age was gazing at me from behind a few branches. Wait, was that, Tweek Tweak? Why is he here? Unless his parents dragged him along like mine did, but at least I got away, or so I thought. I stopped, gazing at him as I watched him tremble and twitch like some sort of broken robot. He made a small squeal, dang it, must have realized I spotted him. I skated his way, "Wait, Tweek". He gazed back slightly, trembling a bit and tugging on his shirt.
