"first room search. right now." tony held dahlias wrist and pulled her in the elevator. he clicked the button to bring her to the floor her room was on. "oh, and you're grounded and not allowed to leave the tower for 3 weeks." his voice was sharp and cold.

"that's insane! you cant do this!" dahlia pulled back from his grasp but tony only held her wrist tighter. "let me go!" her voice got louder as she fought his restraint.

"we've been over this, dahlia! i can do whatever the fuck i want!" tony walked out of the now open elevator door dragging dahlia behind him.

"i fucking hate you!"

"wanna make it 4 weeks? i can make it 4!"

"you'll just do whatever the fuck you want anyway. 'cause why would anyone else have a say when tony stark can just...fucking, make all your opinions for you! right?" she said sarcastically. she kept pulling against his grip and kept arguing as he opened the door.

"just say whatever. its not like your actions and words have consequences or anything." tony closed the door behind them.

"rich coming from you." dahlia scoffed under her breath. she sat on her desk chair and held her wrist to her chest. red finger marks that would probably turn to bruises made the skin sore and painful.

tony ignored his daughter and started searching her room, pulling out anything he found that he didn't like and throwing it on her bed.

"3 bottles of jack daniels? really?" he turned and asked. the look on his face made him seem more judging of her choice in alcohol than actually mad at her drinking.

tony saw her holding her wrist and his face dropped for a second before he put the stone cold exterior back on. he hadn't realized how harshly he had been holding her arm when he dragged her through the tower.

he continued to search her room with no more quips and sarcastic comments. with everything he found he felt more and more shitty about himself. all he had been doing these past few years was grounding her and getting into arguments and it hadn't even been doing anything except make her hate him more.
