I randomly came up with this at 3:00 am. and decided to put it in the book.
Half forms can occur when someone or something interferes with a beast solvers transformation or holders of the solve lack enough energy to transform fully. The forms are basically add-ons to the drone, taking characteristics from the full form and adding them to the drone. These characteristics can include: horns, head structure, ears, limbs, spikes, wings, etc. Unlike in their full form, beast drones will most likely not be able to control themselves well.
It's not really a pretty sight to behold ether. This form is rather mangled and disfigured in many ways. This can include large holes in the drones' body, a visible endo-skeleton, torn flesh, shown skulls and teeth through the exoskeleton, and other graphic stuff youtube would probably demonize you for.
Half forms tend to be rather agile and smart. Some are even able to mimic voices and noises they hear. They can remember certain voices and scents easy enough to the point where they can hold grudges and track a person down.
