Something is wrong with Uzi, and some random workers made everything even worse.

This is the second part of the last one. I hope you enjoy it.

Warning: graphic writing ahead.

It's a long one, so buckle in.

No Ones POV

Uzi was walking down the dim hall, her tails light being the only thing guiding her. She had been scowering her side of the hunting grounds for about 5 minutes and was empty-handed so far. Uzi was right at the border between her and V. She could hear gunshots from somewhere else every now and again. But at the moment, it was too quiet for her liking. She felt like something was going to happen.

Twisting pain in her stomach shot through her like a gunshot. It brought her to her knees as she writhed in pain, yet not daring to make a sound. She burst in the nearest door and through herself to the ground. Her pain only got worse.

She had thrown her backpack off and tried to reach for something. She grabbed some type of button. She quickly pressed it before blacking out.

Workers were fleeing as gunshots ringed in the air. The least they could do was run, there was no place to hide, and they couldn't even leave the building. Three workers in particular started running down the South halls.

But at this point, everything was silent, only their rapid footsteps could be heard. They had started to slow down after realizing how quiet it was. Regrouped, they started to search for a way out of this death trap.

But a door slamming in the distance caught their attention. Believing someone found a way out, they ran towards the sound. As they rounded a corner, they spotted a single door. But the first guy froze, followed by the second and third after looking over their friend's shoulder. Running across the door frame was one long, shaky scratch mark.

The first guy started to approach the door but was stopped when the second worker grabbed his shoulder. They looked at each other. Worker two shook his head. The first worker nodded once and pulled out his weapon.

Worker two looked back at worker three, who was holding his weapon, which was grenades. Worker two sighed before pulling out his sword. The three of them marched towards the door and quietly opened it.

Inside was a darkened room. The only light came from a dropped flashlight, which flickered on, revealing a backpack and small button with a blinking red light. Worker one picked the backpack up. Inside was a large pair of pliers, screwdriver, some nails, and screws.

Looking for something else, they pointed the flashlight farther back. They froze. A fleshy sort of wall was there instead of a normal room. They all backed out of the room quickly.

But before they closed the door, worker three rolled one of his grenades in. Closing the door, they ran behind some old crates nearby. They waited for an explosion. Which didn't take long.

The explosion rang throughout the factory. The workers poked their head out from behind the crates. The door was blown wide open. When they heard noises from inside, they ducked back behind the crates. Footsteps grew closer and closer. When they stopped, the first worker peeked between two of the crates.

Nothing was at the door. There's not a sound in the air. All noises had stopped. Only the heavy breathing of the three workers could draw any attention. A subtle scratching noise could be heard beside him.

First, the scratching was on drywall. Then it ended up on tile. And stopped on wood. The silence came again, this time more eery. Worker one turned to face the others.
