Chapter Seven: Propositions and Requests

"This bed was the best purchase you ever made," Jisoo said beside her.

"Why?" Jennie responded with a chuckle.

"It's a queen bed and I'm still halfway off the edge," Jisoo groaned in response. Jennie turned her head searching the rest of the bed.

"Jisu likes to sleep sideways, how does such a small body take so much room?" Lisa spoke quietly as Jennie noticed her son's current sleeping position.

Lisa was laying on her back against the side of the bed with Jisu's head on her chest. Jisu at some point turned his body so that he took up most of the space with his feet pushing into Jennie's stomach. Jennie was laying half on the bed and half on Jisoo who was in a precarious position close to falling off her side of the bed.

Carefully maneuvering Jisu, Jennie scooted off Jisoo pulling her before she could hit the floor. "You get used to it," Jennie said patting Jisoo's thigh. The situation wasn't ideal but Jennie was happy the four of them were cuddled up together. The events of the night before and the conversation after the police station still weighed heavily on her mind.

Looking at Lisa, Jennie settled into Jisoo as she tried to figure out the next step. She felt Jisoo moving beside her but ignored her as she lay there in deep thought.

"Why are we up so early?" Lisa groaned as she turned to face Jennie. "Jisoo, turn off your phone the sun is barely up."

"Oppa texted," Jisoo responded. "He says that after I left my mom kicked everybody out excluding him and Chaeng. I guess someone showed up two hours later serving Chaeng the restraining order paperwork and she blew up again. Oppa has been up all night making sure she doesn't do anything stupid and trying to get to the bottom of what she's been hiding. My mom texted asking why the restraining order included Jennie and Jisu, also."

"Wait, you didn't place one for yourself?" Jennie said.

"There's no point, it would just be broken when I meet with her--"

"You are not meeting with her!" Jennie interrupted angrily.

"Mommy, too loud," Jisu mumbled.

Jennie watched as Lisa pulled Jisu into her arms and walked out of the room. She turned to face Jisoo searching her face for an explanation of what she had just heard. Seeing determination on Jisoo's features, Jennie scoffed as she moved to get out of bed.

Jisoo wrapped Jennie in her arms laying her back down. Lisa joined them with a questioning look as she laid her body and cuddled into Jennie's front.

"Jisu is asleep in his bed," Lisa mumbled to Jennie.

"Thank you," Jennie laid between both women trying to keep herself calm. "What if she hurts you, Jisoo?" She felt annoyed at the smallness in her voice.

"She won't hurt me, I have something she wants and I'll ask Oppa to go with me." Jennie shivered as she felt Jisoo's breath hitting the back of her neck. She hadn't noticed how close the other girl was before and felt herself relaxing into the feel of Jisoo's hand running up and down her side.

"I still don't want you going, call her if you have to speak with her." Jennie wouldn't let the soft touches of the other girl persuade her.

"If I have it my way, it will be the last time I see her for a while." Jisoo chuckled as she pressed a kiss to the back of Jennie's neck. Jennie could feel the smirk as Jisoo knowingly hit all of her weak spots. "It will only be for an hour. If it makes you more comfortable I'll wait until my parents get home from church to go over there."

Jennie felt Jisoo's teeth as the other girl bit gently on her ear. Jennie's hips involuntarily ground back into Jisoo as the girl spoke breathlessly into her ear, "I promise I'll be back before you realize I left." Jennie felt the rush of endorphins as she tried and failed to control her overheating body. She could feel herself caving as Jisoo used every dirty trick to gain her compliance.
