There was something serene about finally returning to Hogwarts. Perhaps it was seeing all of my friends after the long summer months when we all disappeared off to our travels, or more likely, it was finally being able to escape my mother's screaming.

I drag my luggage along the cobblestone, my heels clicking against it repetitively while my head swings around to try and find my friends.

Finally I spot the group gathered on the farther side of the platform, away from all the other students, though it didn't stop our classmates from sending judgemental and curious glances their way.

I smile brightly and make my way over, quickly when Pansy and Daphne spot me they wrap their arms tightly around me, a warm embrace engulfing me.

"Oh!" I almost squeal, "I missed you guys too." I laugh as I try to steady myself against them.

Finally Daphne is the first to pull away, "We missed you so much." She says genuinely, brushing her brown hair back into a neat state.

I reflect her smile. Daphne Greengrass was truly the kindest Slytherin, the girl was kinder then the rest of us, smarter then most and better then everyone.

Pansy pulled away after a moment, "Me and Draco are back together." She quipped quickly before barrelling into the blonde who rolled his eyes and draped a arm around her.

I raise an eyebrow, "Again?" I reply though there wasn't much surprise in my tone.

Pansy and Draco were on and off constantly. The tough were the the most stubborn and petty out of all of us, so when they argued, which was often, it put the whole group on edge.

She claimed though that they loved each other and that was the reason they could never end it once and for all.

Draco sighs, "Gee thanks Evie." Draco says sardonically, "You don't need to say it like that."

I shrug, sending him my sweetest smile, "Missed you too Draco."

He doesn't reply just juts his chin out in acknowledgement, it doesn't phase me, he wasn't the affectionate type.

He never had been, not even when we were in first year. He was usually in a foul mood, and if he wasn't off brooding he was indifferent to almost everything.

Turning to my side, I'm greeted by Enzo, Blaise, Mattheo, and Theo.

I open my arms to wrap Enzo who was closest to me in a hug. He smiled picking me up and giving me a small twirl, eliciting a squeal from me.

"My Evie, I missed you all summer." He hummed, placing me back down gently.

I giggled. Enzo was the sweet to Draco's sour, at a astonishing 6'2, Lorenzo Berkshire was eye candy for everyone at Hogwarts, not to mention that he was kind and charming.

Even in my heels he towered over me, tippy toeing I pat his cheek gently, "Missed you more Enzo."

Before Enzo can respond, Blaise who is standing near Daphne interrupts.

"You're such a flirt Enzo." He mocks, his head cocked to the side as a wide grin spread on his face. Showcasing his million dollar smile.

Enzo frowns but doesn't respond as I begin to walk toward Blaise, "Don't be jealous Zabini." I tease, giving him a hug.

"You wish Rosier." He shot back though there wasn't any bite to his words as he embraced me.

Undoubtedly Blaise was one of my favourite friends, he was funny and often had the best gossip. How he got the information was beyond any of us, but it didn't matter.
