I am a man, but I was born a girl,
A body that didn't match, a life unfurled.
I knew from a young age, that something was wrong,
But it took me years, to find where I belong.
I am a trans man, a journey so long,
A journey of courage, of strength, and of song.
I've faced many challenges, along the way,
But I've never given up, I've never gone astray.
I've found my true self, my heart and my soul,
A person so real, so honest, so whole.
I've embraced my identity, with all that I am,
And I've never looked back, to where I began.
Being a trans man, it's a journey of love,
A journey of courage, of grace, and of trust.
It's a journey of hope, of faith, and of light,
A journey that's worth it, with all of its might.
So let us celebrate, the beauty within,
The beauty of being, of loving, of kin.
For we are all human, no matter the form,
And we all deserve, to be loved and to be warm.
