H.J gets in all wet and soaked,with her bag and a broken heel in her other hand

Mrs. Chan: You are late again

H.J: I.... sighs, I am sorry ma, she bows her head

Mrs. Chan: looks at her for a while, Not to worry, You are fired

H.J; Ma?

H.J sits at the bus stop, sitting hopelessly and looking sad,the rain now drizzling on the cold morning

H.J sighs again as she looks at the sky

H.J: What exactly is my issue with Happiness? Can't I just be happy like a normal person? she sighs again

Still in thoughts,A cute child holding her Mom's hand under an umbrella,passes by to the other side of the bus stop happily chatting with her Mom

Kid: Eomma

Mom smiles,"Hmn?"

Kid: Can you get me ice cream after the rain stops?

Mother: Ani smiles,  You will catch a cold

Kid: I will keep it near the drier

Mother: chuckles,H.J scoffs silently, Then it will melt off

Kid: Ani,Hmm...thinks for a while,Can I pour it in a cup and keep it where the heater is then?

The two adults chuckle
The kid pauses, and yanks her Mom's hand a bit,who stoops in response while the kid whispers in her ear

Mom: smiles, while H.J looks away, Young miss

H.J: Ne?...

Mom: My daughter said you look sad... smiles,Are you okay?

H.J: Eh? she looks at the child who looks forward, puffing her cheeks too shy to confirm her words, I..I am fine ma,I am just catching a cold..

The kid steals a glance at H.J from head to toe shyly,then yanks her Mom's hand again, and whispers in her ear then faces front again, puffing her cheeks to hide her nervousness

Mom: She said, smiles, Do you want a footwear? Your heel looks broken, H.J hides her bare foot under the bench, I wonder why she is not saying it. smiles again

H.J: ........ I will just get a bus here ma..

The kid faces front again,then picks a pair of slippers her Mom put on a nylon and drops them in front of H.J for her to wear,as she stares at her feet

H.J: touched,her eyes watery all of a sudden.....Komawo..

Kid: smiles suddenly, I am Emily,Eon-ni

H.J: Hyo Joo,Jung Hyo Joo

Emily blushes cutely

Emily: Can you be my friend Eon-ni? her Mom chuckles

H.J: Ne, smiles, Let's be friends

Emily: Jin ja??

H.J: smiles,Ne.... trying to hold back her tears

Emily grins at her,then scurries to her Mom,"Eomma,I have a new friend" she points to H.J

Mom: Oh,Jinjayo?? smiles,H.J bows a bit, blushing shyly
