“Lie to me again.” She whispered.

“I love you.” He said.

She believed this lie, because she wanted it to be true so badly.

And the boy smiled, because he knew he had her for another night.

But the girl’s heart wept,  

Pleading with her to leave.

She would only get hurt again.

Her brain refused,

Knowing that she should enjoy the lovely feeling of his arms around her,

It would be gone in the morning. 

The boy just lay there,

High on his power trip off of getting the girl to stay.

He craved control,

And now he had it.

When the morning came,

And the girl left,

He smiled, because he knew she would be back.
