The two Singers got to work, looking up stuff from the area, reading books, etc. Milena sighed when she couldn't find anything useful. She turned to her dad, whose nose was stuck in a demon book, "Anything?"
"I think so but I'm not so sure. You?"
"I couldn't find anything." she sighed, "I feel bad for leaving Dean by himself."
Bobby placed his research down, "It'll give him time to grieve. He'll be fine soon."
Just then a knock was at the door. Milena got up and opened it, revealing Dean and... Sam. She stared at the boy with astonishment. Bobby came up behind her and his mouth dropped.
"Hey, Bobby. Milena." Dean said, looking away from the two immediately.
"Hey, guys." Sam said.
Milena wrapped her arms around the boy, happy to see him. "Sam. It's good to...see you up and around." Bobby told him.
"Yeah...thanks for patching me up."
Milena pulled away confused. Sam pat Bobby's shoulder, walking past him into the house. "Don't mention it."
Dean followed. The two gave him a hard look, vibrating with unspoken emotion, "Well Sam's better. And we're back in it now, so....what do you know?"
The four of them went into the living room, standing around Bobby's desk. "Well, I found something. But I'm not sure what the hell it means."
"What is it?"
"Demonic omens...like a frickin' tidal wave. Cattle deaths. Lighting storms. They skyrocketed from out of nowhere. Here." he pointed to Wyoming on a map, "All around here, except for one place ... .Southern Wyoming."
"Wyoming?" Dean and Milena said, confused.
"Yeah. That one area's totally clean–spotless. It's almost as if..."
"What?" Sam asked.
"The demons are surrounding it." Milena said, looking up from the map, crossing her arms.
"But you don't know why?"
Bobby shook his head, "No, and by this point my eyes are swimming. Sam, would you take a look at it? Maybe you could catch something I couldn't."
Sam nodded. Milena pushed herself off the table, looking at the oldest, "Come on, Dean. Dad and I got a lot of books in the truck. Help us luge 'em in."
The three went out into the junkyard. Finally, Milena pushed him, "Are you fucking kidding me Dean. What did you do?"
Dean looked away. Bobby pushed him, "You made a deal....For Sam, didn't you? How long did they give you?"
"Bobby. Milena."
"How long?!"
"One year."
Milena gasped, covering her mouth while a tear slid down her cheek. Dean Winchester gave his soul away so his younger brother could live. Dean noticed Milena's reaction and looked down, "Which is why we gotta find this yellow-eyed son of a bitch. That's why I'm gonna kill him myself. I mean, I got nothing to lose now, right?"
"I could throttle you!" Bobby shouted, grabbing the boy by his collar.
"What, and send me downstairs ahead of schedule?"
"What is it with you Winchesters, huh? You, your dad. You're both just itching to throw yourself down the pit." he said, letting him go.
"That's my point. Dad brought me back, guys. I'm not even supposed to be here. At least this way, something good could come out of it, you know? I-I-It's like my could mean something."
