Ch3: Cheetah Rescue Pt 2

Lydia and Diana got out of the car and began to follow Mothra towards the situation.

There was only two police officers at the scene.

The rest of them had left due to Cheetah's furiousness.

"What do we got? I need to get through..." Mothra said, wanting to get this over with, especially since she didn't want to be killed.

"We got a wild animal that just broke through the glass doors of the bank. I was wanting to use the tranquilizer but, this cop here didn't want to use it..." The first cop said, in an explanation as he was looking at the second cop that was now looking at him.

"It reminded me of my father when he got mauled by a tiger when it got loose in the zoo." The second cop said, explaining the reason why he didn't use the tranquilizer the first time earlier.

Mothra nodded her head yes, in understanding.

"Don't forget to mention but, inside of that animal is a human being. A scared human being that doesn't know how to take control of the creature. Especially Cheetah. Inside of her, I see Barbara Minerva. A human being that can't control the creature, especially since the curse is extremely strong..." She said, in an explanation as the two police officers began to step aside and let her into the scene.

Just as she was about to face Cheetah, she could sense that Diana was nearby.

Mothra smiled and then faced Cheetah.

Cheetah looked at her.

"C... Could you tell those two police officers to leave? I just... I just want to go home. I... I'm really tired." She said, while also showing Mothra her tired eyes.

Mothra nodded her head yes and then turned towards the police officers.

Diana looked at Lydia, concerned.

"What's happening?" She asked, hoping that Lydia would know.

"Mothra's doing what Cheetah says." Lydia said, in a low voice as Mothra was now looking at the police officers.

"Officers, you are relieved of duty. I'll take it from here." Mothra said, addressing the two officers.

The two officers bowed and then began to head towards their cars.

Lydia, Diana and Mothra were watching as the police cars were now leaving the scene.

After the police left, Mothra looked at Lydia and Diana.

"Nice job handling that well, Mothra!" Lydia said, smiling after saying that.

Mothra smiled and then looked at her wife Diana.

"Wonder Woman would be proud of you, Mothra. Especially since you're being so calm about this and handling the situation well." Diana said, with a soft voice.

She was really proud of her for handling this Cheetah situation.

Mothra chittered happily and then looked back at Cheetah.

"Well well well... Hello, Mothra." Cheetah said as she was looking at her.

Mothra then cleared her throat.

"Hello, Cheetah. What are you doing here?" She said, beginning to talk to her.

As Cheetah was about to continue talking to Mothra, she began to feel her human half Barbara Minerva trying to take control.

"IT WASN'T MY FAULT!!! I WAS TRYING TO STOP CHEETAH FROM TAKING CONTROL BUT, SHE WAS TOO STRONG!!!" Barbara Minerva said, crying out as she was trying to fight for body control.
