His Girl - Farkle Minkus

It was gym period and everyone had just finished attempt to climb the rope. Everyone was out of breath. Maya walked over to Carter who was reaching down to get her water bottle.

"Hey Carter." Maya said as she approached the girl. Carter smiled at her.

"Hey Maya, what's up?" Carter asked as she took a sip of her water. Farkle was walking up behind her, she handed him her water bottle as he to a sip of it.

"I was wondering if you wanted to go Demolition shopping with me?" Maya asked hopefully. Carter looked at Farkle in surprise.

"Umm, yeah sure," Carter said, "We can go after school!"

"Okay, see ya." Maya said as she walked away. Carter turned to look at Farkle.

"What do think that was about?" Carter asked Farkle, still kind of shocked that Maya wanted to hang out.

"Maybe she just wants to be your friend." Farkle said with a shrug as he took another big sip of Carters water.

"Hey!" Carter said as she took the water bottle from him, she shook the bottle to see how much was left. Then she took a sip of it. "You drank more then half of the bottle Farkle."

He look at her with a smile as he shrugged. He then snatched the water bottle and started running. Carter was surprised but then started chasing him, trying to get her water bottle back.

Carter walked up to Mayas locker as the bell rang, indicating that school was over.

"Ready?" Carter asked as she approached her. Maya looked up and smiled at her.

"Yup, just let me get my sandwich." Maya said as Carter watched her pull out a sandwich from a toaster that Maya had in her locker.

Carter was shocked but also trying to figure out where the toaster was plugged in at?

The toaster dinged, "Okay I'm ready." Maya said as they began walking out of the school and heading in the direction of the Demolition store.

As the walked down the street, Carter chuckled.

"You know, I was surprised when you asked me to go shopping with you." Carter said as she watched Maya put a napkin in her pocket.

"Well we never really hung out, and I wanted to get to know you better." Maya said. They walked into the shop and Carter immediately went over to the vintage clothes.

She picked out a few clothes to try on, she walked over to Maya with the clothes in her hand. Carter smile as she shook the clothes in her hand. Maya smiled at the girl.

"I feel a fashion show coming on." Carter said with a smile, looking at the clothes in her hand. Maya chuckled at her as she went to sit down by the dressing rooms, waiting for Carter to show her her outfits.

Carter came out with a graphic cropped t-shirt, vintage flare pants, and Converse on. She smiled at her outfit and at Maya. "What do you think?" She asked Maya.

Maya nodded her head and smile. "I like it, I think you should get it."

"I felt kinda weird because I don't usually wear this kind of stuff but I think it looks good." Carter said honestly.

Carter tried on 5 more outfits. The girls laughing and smiling when one of the workers saw Carter almost fall over in some heels she found in the back of the shop.

The girls decided to go back to Carters house before Maya had to go home. As they entered the house, Carter gave Maya a quick tour then they walked to Carters room and set her bags down.

They both sat on the bed laughing. "That poor worker, he looked so scared." Maya said with a chuckle.

"I was scared!! I thought I was gonna fall flat on my face." Carter said with a laugh. Maya laughing too. When the girls calmed down they just started talking about anything, it was surprisingly easy for them to talk to each other.

"Sooo," Maya started, "how's your relationship with Farkle going?"

"It's really good yk, I really love him." Carter said. Maya looked at Carter, kinda expecting her to say more, but she didn't force her to say more.

"That's good, I'm really sorry about Riley, she's just kinda... I don't know." Maya said with a sigh. Carter kind of understand what Maya was trying to say.

"It's fine, soo... how about you? You got anyone whose caught your eye." Carter said as she wiggled her shoulders at Maya, Maya looked at her and chuckled.

"Well, I like this guy.. his name is Josh. But he's 3 years older than me. We've been talking a little but he's still not sure yet because of the 3 years age difference." Maya said kind of sadly. Carter just sighed.

"Oh wow, I'm so sorry Maya. But I hope you guys work out." Carter said with a small smile.

"Yeah me too.." Maya said with a sigh.

For the next 2 hours the girl talked and laughed. They gotten to know each other better  and they silently decided that they were going to become great friends.
