Distance can't affect the delightful memories. We can access those any time anywhere we want, and the surprising fact is we don't even need scientifically designed time machine for travelling back at that time. The reason is all of us have in built time machine inside us for visiting our memories as per our wishes. All we need is nostalgia to initiate this journey.

Morning had initiated the day already. Sun rays were roaming briskly inside a prettily arranged hall, and were touching the possessions of the hall like some naughty children running here and there being carefree.

A huge photo frame was shining capturing the photo of a young police officer. Two hands came forward putting a fresh garland on that photo frame. The face of that person reflected on the glass of photo frame clearly, and she was none other than Subhashikta.

That was her home, and person in frame was her late father ACP Nityank Mishra who had left the world when she was ten years old.

"I miss you so much, Papa. You remembered, when I used to pick diaries from your drawers you told me that you would give me diary and pen of my choice in each beginning session of my college life," Subhashikta's eyes teared up instantly remembering those days.

"Today's the first day of my MBA. Now it's your turn to fulfill your promise," she stretched out her hand towards the photo frame to receive what she was promised for.

An affectionate hand reached to Subhashikta, and placed a beautiful diary and pen on her palm.

"You wouldn't be deprived of those which papa promised to you," the statement belonged to Subhashikta's elder sister, Radhika Mishra who was a lawyer in profession.

Radhika had succeeded in earning fame for her in the short time of practicing her profession. For Radhika her younger sister was no less than her child for whom she had was playing the role of a single parents after death of her father and paralytic attack of her mother when she was a twelve years old girl.

"I am here, my dear. Why are you getting emotional?" Radhika caressed Subhashikta's hairs, and placed a soft peck on her hairs.

"Didi, I want more pens like this. It smells too nice," breaking the hug Subhashikta scribbled something on her palm with the pen, and smelled her palm deeply.

"Sure, my doll. Let's go to maa," side hugging her younger one Radhika led her towards the room of their mother.

Entering into the room they saw their mother Yashika Mishra was sitting on wheel chair helplessly. Doctors had declared that making her like before was nearly impossible, and a miracle was needed for bringing her out of that state. That bitter truth could break neither the hope of sisters nor their spirit. They had been continuing serving their mother and keeping her happy as much as possible.

The duo went nearer to Yashika.

"Our little doll Subhi is going to start her first year of MBA. Bless her, Maa!" Radhika bent down along with Subhashikta, and placed Yashika's hand on Subhashikta's head.
