Zhongli/Morax's P.O.V:

It has been awhile since i've met up with Barbatos, Perhaps when it was Lantern Rite? I would say a month, It is quite complicated about my feelings. I love him yet i hate him

Which makes me believe that i have feelings for him "romantically". Guizhong did managed to make me feel like this, But it wasnt strong as Barbatos.

As such, I am sure Guizhong is delighten that i had moved on over her

But i couldnt always help but to remember the memories, Me and barbatos had shared.

We were drinking Osmanthus Wine, Chattering as we drink. I wasnt much of a drinker. But Barbatos was

"Haha! Morax~ Care for another drink~?" The anemo archon had asked me, Leaving me to sigh deeply.

"I'm afraid, i dont drink much." I answered as Barbatos seems disappointed. "Thats okay~ Its understandable for a old man like you~" I sighed disappointively at the Anemo Archon.

"What? Arent i telling the truth?" He laughed as his wings went down to the ground slighty

"That was rude to say, Barbatos." I told as he rolled his eyes, "Well~ if its that rude, You would throw some rocks at me~" He winked at me.

"Well dont make me throw one at you" I said, trying not to look flustered

He laughs once again

"Alright~ alright~" He says as we continued to drink (Like in photo)

I suppose it was a chaotic memory.

"Greetings, Mr. Zhongli." I was caught off guard as i saw Traveller, How could i not notice anything? Odd. I suppose i was too focused

"Greetings, Traveller. I suppose it isn't easy to travel around and find your sister i presume?" I said, drinking my cup of tea in order not to look like i was caught off guard by his sudden appearance.

He sighed lightly and smiled

"Yes, It isn't easy mr.zhongli. How things been going in Wangshu Parlor?" Traveller asked, intruiged.

'Is he here just for that?' I thought silently

"It has been well. Now, i would like to ask why did you visited me, Traveller." I said, putting down my empty cup down on the table

He sratch his hair nervously. Cant blame him tho

"Well you see Mr.Zhongli.. Me and Paimon happen to run across a cave, more like a temple.. Deticating of a certain god.." He smiled nervously

'Certain god?' I was intruiged, i wonder. Who is it?

"Oh? And who is this god if i may ask, Traveller?" I asked, Looking at him in the eye

"I remembered that the god's name is Kairo, The god of Time." Traveller says, as he paused. Seemingly thinking

"The god of time was workshipped along with Venti" He added, I listened and nodded.

'I see then' I thought, Understanding the explaination (A/N: Even tho it wasnt anyway 😒)

"Do you have any ideas of who she is, Mr. Zhongli?" M/P/N asked, Looking at me

(A/N: M/P/N means "Male Player/Mc Name" in the game ofc. Cause i cant keep calling Aether "Traveller")

"It we're talking about old gods, I suppose that "Kairo" is Istaroth's alias. Her real name is Istaroth like i mentioned as Kairo being an alias, She had disappeared before the Seven Archon's were made. Istaroth is also one of the oldest gods like i, myself." I told, as i poured another cup of brewed tea.

"So.. She's also an old god like you, Mr. Zhongli?" He spoke softly, As i smile lightly before it disappears quickly

"Precisely yes, I would say she is either in the Deep Sea where the fallen gods went through." I said as i drank my tea, "Or she simply disappeared from the World."

He nodded,

"Who is she to Venti anyway? It is suprising that both of them were workshipped along side of each other." Traveller asked. Somehow, he seems intruiged

"Oh, Istaroth is like a mother figure to me! Ehe~ She doesent really mind when i call her mother tho~!"

...Mother Figure?

Oh. I see,

"Istaroth is a mother figure to Barbatos eyes, Simply in put. He sees him as his mother." I paused as i drink my tea once again, "But in any cases, Unlike mourning for her disappearance. He instead, Pretended that she was there and completely acted like everything is alright." I added

"I see, Venti is quite strong to be able to do that." Traveller nods, I sighed. Putting down my cup on the Table once more,

"I dont think so, Barbatos became more alcholic than ever. It is frustating for me. Always have to clean up his troubles" i said, frustrated at the "normal" bards actions

"Oh, have you tried talking about it with him?" He asked, "No. Even if i did i doubt that Barbatos himself will tell why, He hides a lot of secrete to himself. (Theres) no doubt." I told, as i shook my head.

"Hm. I see then," Traveller spoke in a quiter and soft voice, Before he drank a cup of water i gave to him (Pretend that he did anyway)

"By the way Traveller, If i must. I would like to ask where did you found the so called "Temple" You had found." I said, Looking at the traveller.

"Ah sure, Mr. Zhongli" M/P/N nods, As he settle down his map on the table, And pointed on the purple mark

'In between monstadt and liyue?' I thought, Suprised. There was never a Temple there. Either had it made without someone knowing or it simply had been there but i never noticed

"Its right there," Traveller said, I nodded. "I see, If i may i would like for us to investegate the place." I told, Causing for M/P/N to be suprised.

"And may i ask why, Mr. Zhongli?" His tone held confusion and suprise,

"The temple you had found wasnt there 500 years ago, If it was i would've known the location since it was first made." I said, "So i would like for us to investegate this temple." I spoke with a hint of honesty, Drinking my tea finishing it all

'Tho, its not just that . . It could also be dangerous to Celestia. I know well celestia wouldnt be pleased when she finds out.' I thought,

"Alright, I'll ask for some people to come who knows about Venti's identity. Will that be alright Mr. Zhongli?" Traveller asked

"Yes, Feel free Traveller. I do not mind," I told, As he nods. "Alright then. I will take my leave, Have a nice day. Mr. Zhongli, 'Till we meet again tomorrow" Traveller said his goodbyes and left.

. . .

I wonder. What are you hiding from us all this time, Barbatos? Knowing you.. perhaps it will be big? Will it be a blessing or a curse? Time will know.

"My people are free, I do not wish for them
