iii. Into The Past, Nameless Bard

Aether's P.O.V:

"-ther!" Opening my eyes i saw Paimon looking at me worriedly.

"Paimon..?" I mutter as i sat up straight, having an slight headache

"Its great to see you alright, Traveller. You woke up a while ago but you fainted after." I did?

"That's weird." I said honestly, as the others nod in unison.

I looked around, Seeing we're not on the Temple anymore

"Where are we?" I asked, "It appears we're on the time period where the God of Storms, Decabrian still rules over Mondstadt" Mr. Zhongli answered

Oh,

Wait...

OLD MONDSTADT!?!?

"Wait.. wait seriously!?" I said, suprised. "Well it looks like we've been travelled back in time!" Kaeya chuckles

I sighed as i looked around

'For some reason, This place seems somewhat familiar.. no, its something else.'

"Aether?" A voice called out, "Oh- yes. What is it Paimon?" I asked as i looked at the (floating) fairy (A/N: probably a fairy without wings idk)

"Are you okay? Paimon is worried." She says, floating left to right.

I only smiled in return

"Yes, im fine. I just thought this place is somewhat familiar." I replied, Giving me stares from the others.

"Is that so? Perhaps you had either came here before or rather had heard of." Mr. Zhongli said as we heard footsteps. Quickly we all turned around, Drawing out our weapons, Suddenly....

!?!?! My eyes widen in shock as i quickly regain my composure

"Who are you all?" The person asked

It was a boy, Not quite old. His hair was a pinch of a black ravens colour, His eyes were of the color light blue. Two twin braids were made on his hair. Matching the features slightly of the Anemo Archon, also known as venti.

He had a cecilia flower within in his chest near his shoulders, He was wearing a looking brown colored cape, The boy looks at us with his eyes as he hold a brown Lyre

Silence was across, Until Master Jean broke the silence

"I am Jean. Its a pleasure to meet you, You are?" Jean asked, Knowing that we're in the past. We cannot tell titles that are in the Future for it might alter time.

"I'm [REDACTED]. You may call me Nameless Bard" He smiled as i frown quietly,

'Nameless bard? If i remember venti never said anything like that. Could the reason be its because that he doesent have any titles before other than being a bard?' I thought

"Its nice to meet you, These are my friends and companions. Aether, Paimon, Mr.Zhongli, Kaeya, Diluc.." Jean introduced us one by one pointing at the person whose name is said.

The nameless bard nods

"Nice to meet you all! Hope we all get along!" A cheeky smile was on his face. Moreover looking like Venti's usual smile

"Say.. do you know anyway with the name 'Barbatos'?" Diluc asked, as the nameless bard looked confused

"Barbatos? I've never known anyone with such name." The nameless bard claimed with the others were either disappointed or frowning.

Not me tho, I already know who he is to Venti.. This is the friend he took form off. (A/N: We know 😒)

The nameless bard seemed to have taken the situation

"Well, Follow me!" The nameless bard says, We all followed him until we stumbled upon a House, which seemingly looks like he owns this place

"Welcome to my lovely home! Hope you make yourselves comfortable~" His movements and the voice tone looked identical to Venti's as i looked at the (Ex) Geo Archon who seemed to be frowning silently.

I looked at the boy before looking at everyone else (Minus zhongli) who's eating foods they all brought

Then turning my attention to Mr. Zhongli who went towards Xiao then looked at the nameless bard.

"May i talk with you, Nameless Bard?" I asked as the bard smiled, "Ofcourse. Privately?" He says as i nod.

The two of us walked somewhere else,

"Go forth and establish a city
Without a God to rule."
