Chapter 10: November 27- The return

🦇-Josh/Joshua

Wonyoung's POV:
Today I'm returning to Korea, I spent more than a month in New York. Thanksgiving just passed and my agent told me I needed to get back to Seoul as soon as possible. I wanted to spend Thanksgiving with my mother- but of course, as usual, she tells her daughter that she picked to stay with, that she's filming in the holiday and can't come back for it, and as usual, she is just trying to find an excuse to not spend it with me because what Hollywood star treats her daughter like a human being? No one according to her. As a result of that, I spent the holiday with my friends Milly, Audrey, Lea, Kai and Chris, it was so fun to be all of us together.
I knew that eventually I will need to fly back to Korea, but I was terrified of it, now that Sunghoon and I are.... kind of....dating, I didn't knew what to do when I see him, it's my first,  non- sixth grade,  relationship-  I had no idea what to do, so my friends offered their help- and they surly did help me a lot.
Right now I'm on the plane back to Korea. I didn't tell anyone about my return except my from my friends in America, not to Sunghoon, not to Yujin, Gaeul, Liz, Rei, Leeseo and not even to Jungwon, I really just wanted to come back home without making any kind of a scene or something, i wanted to return quickly as possible and as quiet as possible.

After a few hours, we leaned.
Unluckily, the paparazzi was everywhere around the airport, I had no idea what to do, but then, someone's bodyguard came to the rescue, he gave me a pair of black sunglasses like he had, because of them I couldn't see his face, and his black leather jacket which he took of, underneath the jacket he had a short sleeve black t-shirt, but I didn't even payed attention to the shirt because what kept me staring at him was his veins that popped out of his ginormous hand muscles, it felt like the world was in slow motion for a moment.  "Don't look, just go" he told me and held my back. We walked, fast, fan and the paparazzi walked after us, even faster, we get out of the airport, they get out too. As soon as we got out someone dressed all in black opens the door- but I could recognize them this time, it was Yujin (knowing it's her really helped not thinking I was getting kidnapped).
We got in the car. He removed his sunglasses and his hat. I was shocked, it was Sunghoon.
"Hi" he said and kissed me,
🐰:"Hi" I chuckled
🐕:"You guys are so cute together" Yujin sobbed and both of us chuckled right afterwards.
🐰:"So.. How did you know that I got back...?"
🐧:*hesitating "Well.. Milly called.."
🐰:"Milly...?"
🐧:"Yeah"
🐰:"From where did she get your number?"
🐧:"Jungwon, I guess"
🐰:"And from where does she has Jungwon's number??"
🐧:"What's wrong? Are you good?"
🐰:"NO, I mean-" *sighs "I'm great, I'm just surprised ti see you here", she said and kissed him.
🐕:"Gosh, I need to get a boyfriend"
🐰:"But you have a boyfriend, don't tell me.
What happens to Yoon-Kuan???"
🐕:"Nothing.... We're still together, just in a fight"
🐰:"Whatever you did to each other, make up, he's perfect for you".

Yujin's POV:
Wonyoung doesn't know yet, we'll nobody does, but Yoon-Kuan and I never dated, and Yoon-Kuan never even existed.

Well, I did date someone, but I knew no one would approve of, especially not Wonyoung, she will say "You can do better than that, dump him".
Wonyoung and I attended the same high school, and so is Josh, Joshua.
Josh was the smart, dangerous and the "I don't give a f*ck" kind of guy to most people, but at the same time the sweet, warm hearted and sensitive kind of guy, for me; and that's why Wonyoung never liked him that much in high school. He reminds me of  Jess from Gilmore Girls by personality and Dean from Gilmore Girls by looks. He was Jess, I was Rory and Wonyoung was Lorelai. But Josh and Wony sure did  had something, they ALWAYS flirted even though they didn't like each other, Wony used to call him "Criminal"/"J" or "Josh!t" and he used to call her "Vick"/"V" or "Sugar lips", tbh I always suspected something was going on between them, but I knew Wony would never, they were just always touchy and flirty.
I guess sometimes I was a bit jealous of their friendship, they had so much chemistry, everyone saw it, everyone shipped them.
When Josh and I dated, I couldn't stop having deja vus about high school, I kept thinking about how it used to be, of how Wony and Josh used to flirt, have fun together and how I used to be like the third wheel, it still felt like it when we dated, he always asked about Wonyoung I know he was just being polite, but he still kept talking about her and that drove me crazy, I know I shouldn't be jealous but I was, and that's actually why we broke up.

🐕:"We should call the girls to tell them you're back!", I scrolled through the screen which was connected to to my phone,

🐰:"Wait... Josh?... Josh!t? You're still talking to him?" She cracked up,
🐧:"Who's Josh?"
🐕:"He went with us to high school" I said and Wony still laughed hard
🐰:"Call him!!!" She couldn't breathe from laughter,
🐕:"Calling"
...
🦇:"Jinnie?"
🐰:"Josh!t!!!"
🦇:"Whoa!!!! Sugar lips!!!"
🐧:"Sugar lips?"
🐰:"Be careful with your words! Got a boyfriend!"
🦇:"And I thought you'll never get over me"
🐰:"And you? Got a girl?"
🦇:"Nahh, it's only you for me"
🐕:"I can't believe this!! I was right the whole time you guys did date" I tried to sound very satisfied, but I was furious and frustrated,
🦇:"We didn't" I could hear his smirk and Wony did smirk (and Sunghoon saw it).
🐕:"So what are you doing these days?"
🐰:"Trying to get behind the bars?"
🦇:"You already know that my life goal Vick, but believe it or not, I'm actually studying"
🐰:"What?" She sounded disgusted
🦇:"Photography, I got into Harvard"
🐰:"Wow, you're serious?"
🦇:"I'm on campus right now"
We were both shocked, completely wordless.
🐕:".... We've gotta go, we'll talk later" I hanged up.
🐰:"Joshua... Joshua is in college.. and in Harvard"
🐕:"I know"
Wonyoung fell asleep on Sunghoon's shoulder and he messaged to someone, he was really upset since the call from Joshua, the ride was quiet until Wonyoung woke up,
🐧:"Hey Yujin?"
🐕:"Yeah?"
🐧:"Can you drop us off in here?"
We were near a small coffee shop,
🐧:"I think Wonyoung and I both can use a coffee cup"
🐕:"Sure"
They went out.

Sunghoon's POV:
(Flashback)
...
🐰:"Josh!t!!!"
🦇:"Whoa!!!! Sugar lips!!!"
.....
🦇:"And I thought you'll never get over me"
🐰:"And you? Got a girl?"
🦇:"Nahh, it's only you for me"
(🧠:"Sugar lips????? What was he thinking??? Josh!t???? What was SHE thinking flirting with him??? "And I thought youll never get over me", "Nahh, it's only you for me"????"
🫀:"He has much more chemistry with her than I do, he even got cute nicknames for her- he calls her SUGAR LIPS and VICK and she's OKAY with it, I thought she hates her name Vicky. Maybe I should break up with her so she could be with him, And he's literally PERFECT for her, I'm pretty sure they know each other better than Jungwon knows Wonyoung, he goes to HARVARD which means he's incredibly smart and... and.... I just wanna scream right now"
🧠:"CALM DOWN, you're forgetting one thing, she chose to be with you! Not him! You")
I kept overthinking the entire ride while Wony was sleeping on me and I pretend like I was talking to Jungwon.
Then Wonyoung woke up, I really needed to talk to her, in private, so I suggested to grab a cup of coffee together.
We got out of the car.
🐧:"So do you still get an iced vanilla latte?"
🐰:"Yeah, you remembered"
🐧:"Of course I did" back when we worked together we used to go to get iced vanilla lattes every Friday because it was for both of us favorite drink.
We stood in the line to order.
🐰:"They have macaroons! Let's get some macaroons too!" She got excited
🐧:"Than we'll get macaroons too"
🐰:"Yayyy".
I calmed down after we drank and ate, but suddenly she brought up Joshua again and I got pissed again, even though she tried to have me not worried about him.
🐰:"I noticed you got pretty upset when Joshua called me sugar lips, I just want you to know that there is nothing between us, we're just friends"
🐧:"You sure? He flirted a lot with you..."
🐰:"That's Josh"
🐧:"You mean Josh!t?"
🐰:*sighs "Please don't tell you're jealous..."
🐧:"I'm n-" I said, with a face and a voice full of jealousy, and she noticed that,
🐰:"I.. I cannot believe this. You're jealous. YOU ARE JEALOUS. Listen Sunghoon, I told you there is nothing between us, he did flirt with me today, so what? You can absolutely be upset but not jealous, he's just my friend, nothing more"
🐧:"Promise?"
🐰:"Yes"
🐧:"Okay then, I believe you"
🐰:"And you promise me you won't be the jealous annoying boyfriend?"
🐧:"I promise"
🐰:"Fine then" she replied and kissed me.
