The Russian code breaking and now spy mission had gone well for the most part. Who would of expected that a group of four unsuspecting teenagers were able to figure out something as complex as this.

They were lucky enough to accidentally stumble upon this code but the face that they were able to correctly translate it and then figure out the specifics of it, was even crazier. They were like professionals in the field but the difference was that they worked minimum wage jobs and only did this out of boredom.

Either way, they were clearly doing better than most government and military personnel.

Everything had gone well for the most part. They had figured out the logistics on paper and even had a plan of action that they were gonna use to actually see what the Russians were up to. They had discovered a way to get to their guarded storage room, undetected and they would do this by travelling through the mall's ventilation system.

But there was indeed one big problem with this genius plan.

Nobody could fit through the narrow airspace. The eldest teens were too big to do it, so the task bestowed on the smallest one, Dustin but not even his weirdly bendy bones could squeeze him through.

The only way that they were going to get into that room is if they were going to find someone who was small enough and willing to do it.

And this is where Erica Sinclair comes into play.

The small and sassy preteen girl would be their best bet at getting into that room and figuring out what the Russians were up to in Hawkins.

"Yeah, I don't know." Erica shrugged.

"You don't know if you can fit?" Dustin questioned.

"Oh, I can fit." Erica confirmed. "I just don't know if I want to."

"Are you claustrophobic?" Robin pondered.

"I don't have phobias." Erica denied with a chuckle.

"Ok, well, what's the problem?" Steve asked in annoyance.

"The problem is, I still haven't heard what's in this for Erica." The girl pointed out.

The teens all looked at each other with defeated looks. They knew the exact thing that she wanted as she had come into their shop everyday for it.......free ice cream. She would only do this task if it meant she could get free servings of the frozen treat for an extended period of time.
