Today was the day of the da- no it wasn't a date, it was just hanging out with a friend. If I thought of it as a date I was just putting myself up for heartbreak. NO matter how muck I liked him, I couldn't expect him to like me back. I was me, he was Niall Horan. I mean I think that him and One Direction would make it big. I mean if they were famous one day, whick they probably would be, he wouldn't have time for a girlfriend. Heck, he probably didn't have time now, he was so busy with X Factor.
"Isabella!," My mom called, "Go get ready. Niall just texted you and said he will be here to get you at 2:00. Said he didn't want to put pressure on me to take you." He's so sweet. I looked at the clock, it was 1:15.
"Ok Mom." I called back. I walked over to my closet to pick out an outfit. I took a baby blue blouse and I found my favorite skinny jeans. I put it on and then went to the bathroom to do my hair and makeup. I quickly put on some mascara, lip gloss and lilac colored eye shadow. I brushed my hair and put it in a side braid. Now for the shoes. I went back to my closet and took my silver flats. I ckecked the time again, it was 1:55. Not to wait. I went down stairs to get my phone. I put it in my pocket and went to tell my mom that Niall would probably come any minute. As I was walking, I heard the door bell ring. Instead of going to my parent's room, I just yelled to my mom that I was leaving.
"OK sweetie, have fun!"She told me.
"I will. See you soon." I opened the door to see a releaved looking Niall. I think that he was unsure that he got the right house. He was just staring at me. I started to feel insecure. Was there something on my face? Was my shirt stained? Did my makeup smear?
"You look really pretty." Niall said.I blushed crismon. I guess he noticed the paniked look on my face. "Should we go?" He asked.
"Yeah. And thanks." I said with a smile. "Oh and thanks for picking me up. My dad is back on life support. His heart stopped twice today." He gasped. I looked up.
"I thought he was fine." He said.
"That's what the doctors said. But I guess that they were wrong." I muttered. "Just like with Jake."
'Who's Jake?" Niall asked me. We reached the car and we both got in. I put my seatbelt on and he started driving to the cinema.
"My brother." I said simply. I didn't want to takl about it. Jake was my brother. He was 3 years older than me, but we did everything together. Until he decided to be a folower and go to a club with a bunch of his school friends. They were driving back home when an 18-weeler took them out. Everyone in the car died on the spot. That was 2 years ago. He was 17 but his birthday was 3 days after. That's why the funeral was 5 days after. The wake was on his birthday.
"Don't you have to be like at the show practising?" I aksed him.
"No. We have 1 weeks off because of Saint Partics Day and I'm Irish so they gave me 2 extra days off. My family is coming tomorrow later though. So I had nothing today and we are staying in the X Factor house so we can;t really go there. There would be too many people. Not to mention the lads would be teasing us saying things like, use protection and stuff like that. So it's better if we just go see a movie. Oh and what do you want to see?" He said in like 2 breaths.
"We can see Harry Potter, it's in the theatures now." I love Harry Potter. I would die to see the movie. Well not literaly but I really want to see it. We pulled up to the theature as Niall answered me.
"Yeah we can see it. To be honest, I sort of want to see it also." I laughed at that.
Niall's POV
God. Her laugh was beautiful. I really hope I can call her mine one day.
