The Misfortunes of A Rainbow

Chaper one ; The first day

As You Walk through the Factory you hear screams and wails, you can't help but feel like something is off about this place. You manage to shake it off until you feel eyes burning into the back of your head. You turn around to see your new boss, Walden Darling... or as he want you to call him, Wally.

"Ah! You must be the new worker.. Y/N.. right?„

His voice was deep and menacing, you felt chills go down your spine as you nodded slightly.

"No need to be nervous Y/N, I don't plan on hurting you.„

You still felt suspicious, as the factory you were in was full of screams and sobbing people.. which didn't seem to bother your new boss at all?

"Say... How would you like a tour Y/N?„

"That would be... uh great.„

You replied slightly nervous to find out the truth behind the factory you thought was fine.

"Perfect then, follow me.„

Wally began walking off as he motioned for you to follow. As you Follower him deeper into the factory the screams only got louder.

"So uh... what's with the screams..?„

You asked and Wally just chuckled.

"Don't worry about that,, you'll get used to it very soon.„

What did he mean by that.. you thought as he led you to a hallway.

"I suppose starting at the experiments would be a good start.„

Experiments? Is this a factory or some sort of lab factory thing? As you walked down the hall, you glanced to the side to see a large cage with a glass window. You walked over to it and peeked in.

"Ah.. has that one caught your eye?„

"Mhm..„

You replied to Wally's question.

"That is Scarlet.. she seems calm until some unusual thing happens.. we aren't sure if what yet.. but she seems stable currently.„

You glance at Wally slightly before back down at Scarlet. You couldn't help but notice the girl looked only 19. What the hell goes on in the place?

"How about we go check on some of the other experiments?„

You nodded slightly. As Wally began walking to another cage. You quickly followed after him and noticed a man sulking in a corner of his cage.

"This is Scaramouche. He's another calm one."

What were they doing in here to the point where they needed experiments..? And what did they do to them?

"Let's go visit the last experiment.„

Wally didn't bother to wait for your reply, he just walked over to the cage which held a white, purple, and orange animatronic.

"This is Lolbit. They're an animatronic Henry, our engineer is working on.„

You turned around to see a black and turquoise haired girl dart past you and to a cage... she must be an experimenter, you thought.

"Ah, there goes Lilith.„

You couldn't help but notice the tinge of daughterly love in Wally's voice. Where the two related in someway? You wondered as Wally continued the tour until it was time for you to leave for the day.
