The bright sun shining threw my windows and the burning sensation as I tried to open my eyes when I got up I went to the bathroom brushed my teeth quickly grabbed Dally's jacket from the wash and went to go get changed I left it in my room as I had to get to work I walked out my front door and started walking when i passed Johnny's house to see any sighs of him I heard crashing in his house and hoped he wasn't in there and walked to the vacant lot where thankfully he was and I sat down next to him hoping to wake him up and he did I accidentally started him and he woke up gasping I stroked his hair hoping to calm him down " it's just me jonnycake it's okay" he calmed down and said "Jesus y/n you scared me and good morning" "good morning" I responded he sat up and we walked to the Curtis house together we walked in to see ponyboy on the couch soda getting ready for work and Steve sitting on floor eating a chunk of chocolate cake which I discovered is very common in the Curtis household I sat down next to ponyboy noticing he was reading a book I was fiddling with my thumbs lost in a deep thought when I got startled by the slam of the door and dally walking in Dally invited Johnny and ponyboy to the drive In and Johnny invited me I got up and went to work it was dead and there wasn't many customers I worked for 6 hours then clocked out walked home grabbed the jacket then met up with the boys I handed Dally his jacket and we walked to the theater we all climbed under the hole and had no idea what we were watching just surprised ourselves and hoped to like it the boys sat in the back like weirdos and I sat I front of them to not be to far but to get a better view when I felt feet in my chair I turned around to see Dally's feet on my chair and I looked him in the eyes and said " imma give you ten seconds to get your feet of my chair before those ankles are mine" grabbing my blade he responds with "shiver me Timbers I'm shaking in my boots as if you could ever fight back" I hated hearing it but I knew he was right he was touching my hair when I smacked his hand saying "if it gets greasy your washing it" and he took that as a flirty thing " oh asking me to shower with you doll" I started blushing out of embarrassment not knowing what to say I just turned back around Johnny and pony had left to go get some popcorn and coke I had forgotten my jacket like an idiot and it was getting quite cold " it sure is chilly tonight huh" dally just looked at me " next time bring a jacket smart ass" I did what a child would do and stuffed my hands inside my shirt hoping for some warmth when I felt something smack me it when I grabbed it, it was Dal's jacket " don't expect this to happen again" he said scoffing I just looked back at him and smiled when pony and Johnny got back they noticed me wearing Dally's jacket and acting like the immature kids they are leaned close to me and whispered "Dally and y/ n sitting in a tree k-I-S" get out hear I said swatting at them but I will admit i liked it and the end of that suckish movie we all walked home dally went to bucks but me pony and Johnny all went to the lot
