Chapter 19: A Deal in the Making Part 4

Raven:Just one more glass...and phew finally done.

Raven examined the glass closely in her hand— double checking to make sure it looked exactly the same as the one she did before. Same shade of purple, and same golden design— it looked like the first one— that was good thing; she looked at it once more and placed the final glass along with others. Sure, it would had been easier to just change them all at once and been over with it; but after the incident in Heartslabyul, it was better to be safe than sorry in this situation. In the corner of her eye she saw Azul counting inventory of the bar, that uneasy feeling came back again as she stared. It was exactly fear per-say— she knew what that felt like— but there was something about him that just rubs her the wrong way; as if she doesn't stay alert, something would happen.

Raven: I'm finished now.
Azul: Already? Let me just take a look; yes I would say these are remarkable replacements Ms. Queen. While both sets did fit the atmosphere of the lounge, and the originals were quite nice; but I do believe this one is more valuable as the the golden detailing works excellent with this purple hue.
Raven: Thanks... I guess.
Well I think NOW is the time I should get going so...

As Raven quickly walked towards the exit, Azul quickly followed suit.

Azul: Please do wait a moment; you did a favor for me so I must repay you somehow.
Raven: You don't have to do that.
Azul: But I must insist. I would be Quite rude if I let a debt go unpaid.

Azul's smile became wider as he approached her, she backed away from him slowly; still eyeing the way out.

Raven: Guess the next time you see me, you can repay me later. I really need to get back or—

As she hurriedly walked toward the exit, Raven was interrupted after bumping into something. Actually into someONE as she looked up and saw Floyd staring at her with a huge grin; or was he Jade, she haven't had time to figure out who was who yet physically.

Floyd: Hehehe~ Little Betta! you come after all!

Without warning, Floyd wrapped her into a tight hug giggling away; much to Azul's worries and dismay.

Azul: Floyd, please let go of Ms. Queen! That's quite rude to do. And on top of that where were you earlier I need help.
Floyd: Little Betta~ your face looks funny right now~
Azul: Are you even listening to me right now!? *sigh* why do I even bother sometimes?

Raven tried to break out of Floyd's grasp, but it was proved impossible as she underestimated his grip on her.

Raven: Umm Floyd...can you please loosen your grip? It's starting to hurt.
Floyd: But if I do, you'll run away....right?~
Raven: No! It's just—
Azul: Ah so you're still a little longer; well if that's the case I put some tea on.
Raven: Wait a spell I didn't say that either!
And there he goes...
Floyd: Then if that's the case, let's play Little Betta. ~
Raven: I didn't agree to that either! Can you at least tell me why you're calling me that?
Floyd: Because you're pretty and tiny.
Raven: Tiny?! I'm not that short.
Jade: Well you are compared to us.
Raven: Okay maybe but— wait when did you get here!?
Jade: That's none of your concern.
Raven: No I think it is!

Despite her concern refusal, Raven was ultimately dragged by Floyd deeper into the lounge. So in short, she was officially kidnapped.

Upon arriving at the VIP room, Raven felt beyond uncomfortable— and it wasn't just due to Floyd giggling away while occasionally poking her face, or Jade eerily sliming at the two without a care— but the entire atmosphere was just off-putting for her. For starters, the room felt like she was almost in a Headmaster's office— not like the office at EAH— but very much the same vibe as both walls were covered with full bookshelves with a office desk in the middle connecting them; along with a small table and two sofas parallel to each other. However, the eeriest aspect of the room was a large golden vault behind the desk; that what got her as just by looking at it for too long made her the most uncomfortable for some reason. Trying to avert from the vault, Raven focus her attention towards Azul working away at his desk while hesitantly taking a sip of tea.
