ch; 19 the proposal

"YN, you better come down now," her mom said, opening her room door. As YN looked at her mom, she squinted her eyebrows. "What happened?" YN inquired, but her mom shook her head before heading back downstairs. "Tell me," YN asked, as she left her roomclueless. YN was in her night pyjamas, watching Netflix, and suddenly her mom came to her room.

"What is it?" YN asked many questions, as she came down the stairs, only to see her dad already in the living room. "You didn't sleep yet?" YN questioned as her eyes panned to someone sittingopposite her dad and her eyes grew huge at the sight.

"M-Mr Jeon," she stuttered, not expecting him at her house at this hour. He smiled as he stared back at her and she was left confused at what was happening. "Come here," her dad called, making her snap at his dad, who seemed relatively calm despite the situation. She walked over to her dad as she sat down, her eyes not leaving Jungkook.

"What's happening?" she asked, looking back at her dad and Jungkook. Her dad cleared his throat before speaking up. "He has been here for 2 hours, and we have been talking." As her dad said, her eyes only grew wider and wider, staring back at Jungkook who smiledin return.

"He said he wanted to marry you," Her dad added, making her gasp at Jungkook. "And we agree to this." She looked at her dad accepting Jungkook's marriage proposal. "That's what we talked about, but the final decision is yours, YN. You can say it to him." He spoke and YN felt her words locked inside her throat. "I know about your past relationship and that didn't work out. That was the only thing that made me worry about, but he seems clearer about your future, and I give it to you. Me and your mom like him. So think about and decide what you want."

She saw her dad getting up from the couch as he headed to Jungkook. "It's really a pleasure meeting you again. It would be great to see you again soon. Please have something before leaving. I have work early this morning, so I gotta go. Good night, young man," YN's dad said to Jungkook, who bowed to him respectfully and thanked him for listening to his words. 

"Good night, Sir," Jungkook said as YN's parents returned to their bedroom. YN was still looking down at the ground, not believing what had just happened. Jungkook saw how flustered she was and walked towards her as he sat next to her on the couch.

"Hey," he said, and she turned around. "Did I disturb your sleep?" she asked, making her laugh. "You disturbed the whole of me, not just my sleep," she replied, turning to him and smiling. "Then I will disturb you more," he said, scooting closer to her. "What is so sudden?" She questioned, wrapping his arm around hers as she pulled him closer.

"I want to see you all day and night. Is it too much to ask for?" Jungkook asked, making her laugh again. And he cupped her cheeks, reassuring her. He said, "I'll be by your side, and I want us to be forever." She hugged him quickly. Even though she had insecurities because of her past relationship, this man right in front of her destroyed every chance to even think about it.

"Everything is unbelievable for me, Jungkook," she said as she buried her face in the crook of his neck, inhaling his sweet scent, making her dizzy. "No I am real," he said, as he placed his hand on her head, pulling her closer to the hug. She smiled when he planted a few kisses on her shoulder and they stayed in the hug for a few minutes.

"I want to design my wedding gown," she said in the middle of the silence, making him open his eyes and pull back from the hug. "What?" he questioned, even though he heard what she said. She smiled sheepishly before pecking his nose. "You can design your wedding suit though." He chuckled before hugging her again. "Of course," he answered, kissing her cheek and reaching her neck.

"I fell for you so hard, Jungkook," she said as they hugged for a while. "So, you have any plans?" he asked and she started talking about how her ideal wedding wanted to be. They sat there for hours, talking and planning their wedding.
